Agnostic Medical Center

Drove by a building last week and could not believe the lettering on the side of the building, "AGNOSTIC MEDICAL CENTER". How refreshingly honest, I thought, to be blunt about the spiritual outlook (or lack of one) by the facilitators. How many hospitals name themselves St. Josephs or Our Lady of Hope or some other such Christian flavor to help alleviate the fears of the sick & dying with some vague promise of an afterlife?

But NO! The next time I drove by the same building, I noticed that some prankster (was that you, sclorch?) had removed the first two letters and it was actually the DIAGNOSTIC MEDICAL CENTER. How disappointing. :frown: You may now disregard this entire thread...
