Why do we deny our own innate lust to kill?
    #17802622 -

Natural law impels us to kill anyone who nature deems unworthy of life. The problem with civilisation is that a certain element of humanity - which would be instantly exterminated by the other humans in a natural setting - is allowed to live.

A lot of people seem to think that statutory rape isn't a crime. Natural law demands that these people be put to death as soon as they are revealed.

My question is, why should we allow the non-killer morality inherent in society stop us from killing paedophiles and stat rapists?

Because the id is suppressed by our superego. From a psychological stand point.

I don't lust to kill either.

It may make me feel better in certain instances but I don't lust for it.

I only stop it because I am personally better of not doing it for fear of landing myself in jail and people I love disowning me.

The lust to kill-Or even harm another living being, is due to an undeveloped conscious.
We are part of the animal kingdom so we inherited primal traits, but we also are continuously evolving faster then anything else in our known world. (Except maybe germs)

Killing was essential in our past, it doesn't belong in our future.

Nor me.

So the false premise is the idea we lust to kill. If that were so then young males who join the military wouldn't have to be trained to kill, they would already lust for it.

Please prove that we're evolving faster than anything and also prove that evolution, in our case, results in not having the urge to kill.

I have no innate urge to kill.

If you do, that might be kindof a bad sign.

"why do we deny our innate urge to kill?"-list of people denying that they have urges to kill

To those in denial, you don't ever want to serve justice?

Example:  you're in the parking lot at the school shooting in newton and hear gunshots. You don't want to take your gun and kill the person wreaking havoc?

Example:  you're sitting on the sofa watching news coverage of the school shooting in newton. You don't think "shit I wish I would've been there to kill that bastard"?

It comes out of a sense of justice.

BUT op I don't know exactly what you mean by natural law would have us eliminating statutory rapists. Natural law would have us dominating any mate of sexual maturity, I would think, not only those who have reached 18 years of age. Now if you say we'd be taking out any of those people preying on fledglings, then I say yeah. We'd be tearing them limb from limb.

in a natural setting the statutory rapists reign supreme and the pedos are their lackeys who feast off their scraps (children).

Maybe you just can't imagine someone not wanting to kill others? That says more about you than it does about people who say that they don't want to kill people.

Y'ever heard of killer instinct? Dude I'm not talking about wanting to kill someone because you're having an argument. I'm saying there are evil people in this world who deserve death. If you disagree with that, then I think you're the unbalanced one.

The only indiscrepancy is that there is not a black and white definition of good and evil, so who deserves life and who deserves death is up to the judge and executioner.

"there are many living who deserve death, but can you give it to them?" gandalferino

Stop making personal comments on the nature of the posters, and argue the idea instead. :nono:

Getting back to your claim, how can one safely determine what other people "deserve" to die? For instance, if the person you replied to gets pissed off at you and concludes you deserve to die, then should I assume that it is ok for him to kill you?

:rofl2: Because the judge had the ultimate book of good and evil?
What about war generals? Do they also possess some special ability through which they can clearly see who deserves to die? :cuckoo:
