San Pedro Trichocereus Pachanoi - Positive ID? [pics]

So I purchased these cuttings, and have been growing them indoors, under very sub-par lighting.. sitting on ground in a half lit room for a while.

Anyways, there getting kinda stragly and I am wondering whats going on with them and if they are the real deal.

My first experience was I ordered like 9 cuttings, I cut them up.

Me and a friend each had 1, 12 inch cutting to ourselves to test them.. neither of us tripped.

But the first time i did it with a cutting, I had it with orange juice and it might of been the vitamin C but i did sorta get super sweaty all on my feet and hands and got mild senses but no trip..

just curious what your experiences were and if this is inface the true cacti i need.

heres the pics of my guys.

soil mix is 50% perlite, 50% standard potting soil for cannabis

watered once.
roots seem stable in soil

pots are 3 gals i wanna say.

they seem to really suck at standing up on their own, and always have.

pic of the dried cactus pieces after removing the core and outer waxy layer dried in chips..  hoping someday i can use them some how in a brew.

They are T. Pachanoi but they are very etiolated due to the lighting situation. The stretched parts will never fully thicken up.

they are indeed pachanoi but severely etoliated meaning they don't get enough light and in your case seems like no light!
they are cacti not and indoor plant and need Sun!

Well I am glad to know I got the right kind, now I just need to get them in better soil, better light, more care. 

I've neglected them due to me having atleast 2 other ethno projects and just wanted to make sure they didn't die on me ;P

Getting more light, will they fatten up or are they destined to stay flimsy weaklings.

Also what am I looking at as far as the whole mescaline trip and amount of cacti to use with these. 

Last time was a freakin marathom.  Put in blender, added Orange Juice..  put in cups and drank it all 12 inch cutting.. nothing really. was disappointed. 

Do I need to make a tea out of allot more?

you need something like 4 or 500 grams to trip decently and by the look of the diameter of the cacti 12" isn't enough you probably need someting like 15 + inches for a decent trip with that diameter.

just eat them raw and drink it down with appeljuice it neurolyses the bitterniss and it will tast lovely :laugh:

BTW the most alkoloids in the plant are most effective if taken up bu the mucus gland so iff you don't have allot of cacti chew on them real good! and you will trip balls I promise :trippinbawelz:

Well the ones we used were like 1.5-2 inch diameter.  the ones pictured here were the cuttings i saved to grow.  but thanks for the info. 

what about dried chips i saved, can i still use those?  there the best part just dried i never used em.
