I know that marijuana definitely exacerbates my mental illness issues. I like the analgesic properties well enough, but you pay a price, just as you do when you use opiates, though I would stipulate the price is nowhere near as high as the opiate price (obviously).

Definitely.  Garbage is proof that God exists.  It's all good as far as God is concerned.  God doesn't do favorites, God just is.

i understand that god is in everything and what not.


but we are talking about the scientific method here folks.

ambiguity of a chemical does not prove the existence of an all-loving god.

in fact, wouldnt that be a pretty fucking sick joke?

Comes down to personal brain chemistry I guess. Weed seems to affect people in vastly different ways. I cant imagine the experiences I get being very helpful to a schizophrenic. I hallucinate some really ridiculous shit on weed. But other people get chilled which may be good for them.

Ill tell you alittle story.. My buddy (this all happened recent as well).  Grew up with this kid. Ive told this here before btw but its good info..

Anyways, my buddy of mine always seemed like the bubbly/air headed type of personality.  Never really thought anything of it.  About 2008ish, he began using alot of drugs.  Smoking weed regularly, and others. Basically whatever he could get his hands on.  Now, while his drugs use, i found out that schizophrenia ran in his family.  He began falling.  His intelligence faded and basically became "slow".

But this part.. ill never forget. It was so creepy.. He would stop by.  He'd walk in my house too without ringing or knocking.. He'd seem half way "normal" so to speak (himself).  My idiot neighbor at the time was smoking k2 and bud.  So this kid would go over there, smoke him up on either and I'd watch him slowly loose his mind as the THC/fake weed kicked in.

He'd begin to just laugh and stare off into space.  He would then get up and walk out of my neighbors house and then into mine.  (not knowing what he was doing) and just walk around my house and then he'd leave.  Finally, when he began coming down.  YOu would try and ask him a question or whatever and he'd give the response (uhhhhh...... idk) He later checked himself into a hospital and found out he was schizophrenic. 

It's just errie how.. He'd be act completely normal sober, and then he'd smoke and become extremely slow.  Stare off into space, thinking crazy who knows what..  So i believe their is some sort of connection in this from that experience. 

But, he may have not become schizophrenic if he had never touched any other drug but bud. Who knows :shrug:

He's still currently recovering.
