Democrats want everyone utterly dependent on government.  The more people dependent on government the better.  Its how they get their votes.  It's also their blueprint on how to eradicate personal freedoms.  Along with being too lazy to work, most freeloaders are thankfully too lazy to vote as well.

First I established beyond dispute that lower income people tend to vote Democrat quite overwhelmingly.  So now you are trying to say that is because there are a lot of seniors on low fixed income.  But that is also disputed by the facts.  People over 65 vote more Republican than democrat by quite a large margin.  In 2010 it was 60-40 for Republicans.  You are spinning so hard you will soon be a Chinaman.

You want Romney to lay block?  Again, just because you work full time doesn't mean you aren't a moocher.  Half of the population lives in a household that receives some kind of federal payment at my expense, not at all the expense of 50% of the population who don't pay any income taxes.  About 2/3rds of the other 50%, people who pay some income taxes, do not pay enough to carry their weight of the federal budget.

I must say, Romneys not my first choice, but I def like him better then Obama. Im voting G J, but am impressed with Romneys speeches. Maybe he is to Obama what Obama was to Dubya Bush. If you live near Manhatten you get this idea that Wall Street is awesome because you want to build 10 million dollar two floor houses with nice swimming pools. Who doesnt. The fact is Wall Street right now is hurting itself, its sitting on a ton of cash and could be creating new jobs. Well, with that being said Id like to see Romney or G Johnson give it a shot, they might fix things. If they dont oh well we wont have them as long as Cuba has had Castro. If we dont take a risk we get a for sure loser for another 4 years

And you think Obama wont treat a corporation like a person? No president will be against capitalism. If you are so obsessed with anti capitalism then make a thread about senators and governors, congress does half the damage. Do you know who Bill Nelson and Rick Scott and Marco Rubio in Fl are? Corporations don't pay income tax, they pay corporate taxes.  Or they don't.  What does this mean?

You can't even sell tile, dude, and you think you're gonna tell me how Wall Street and trickle down economics works (or doesn't)?

I know for a fact that I and my wife make millions of dollars providing services and products to Wall Street machers, among others.  Can we afford to live in the houses we build and sell?  No.  But we can live the way we do because of them.  It's a lot easier to build and sell 10 homes a year for millionaires than it is to build and sell 1,000 homes a year for chumps.

What is a moocher: someone who lives off of others.

What is a business: an organization of people, tools, materials, and methods to produce enough of a product or service to sell to others to 1. Skim and route wealth to the owner(s) of the business.  Owners tend to create self-operating systems, requiring little input, effort, work from them.  Wealth accrues to the owners based on how efficiently they exploit two things, 1. Customers/demand.  This is why business owners/executives (like Mitt Romney) look at us as moochers:  we see ourselves as productive--the product or service wouldn't exist without us.  The owner sees us as an expense, usually his largest and most irritating to deal with expense.  The larger a business gets, the more control it has over both the means (employees, materials & methods) and the customers (the market).  The larger the business, the more wealth is routed from both the productivity of workers and customers (whose wealth is usually a function of their productivity).  Essentially, businesses are self supporting/growing systems that siphon wealth from both workers and customers to relatively much less productive, often unproductive, owners.  They're like tumors.  So, maybe, if these business owners want to call hard workers "moochers", we should call them what they are, "tumors", and we should "treat" them accordingly.  Businesses are organized to feed off us and grow bigger and bigger; that is why we need to organize, to shrink them, to starve them, to steal back from them the vitality they steal from us.

Also ... No wonder business owners hate (fear) unions, they know that human organizations have fantastic power: pyramids, skyscrapers, cruise ships, Disney World.  If workers harness that power for themselves by organizing, they are on an equal footing with businesses: 1. workers access that fantastic power of organization and all its potential, and 2. they decrease the power of businesses to exploit them.  This is why the idea if unions drives business people nuts, makes their blood pressure go up; they become seething & hateful.  They machinate and propagandize to great extent to prevent people from accessing the power that makes them feel so comfortable and special, like life is geared for their benefit.  Romney said as much, listen to how he explains that Chinese work to put a silver spoon in the mouths of Americans--disgusting.

Do you really think that imposing the same across the board rules in North Dakota as in New York is sane?  What is wrong with lobbying your representatives?  It is a Constitutionally protected right for everyone, even people who own big corporations.
