Personalisms only refer to the people posting here.

If you have a problem with the thread or a post then flag it and give your reasons to the moderators.  This is the proper way to handle this.  OC breaks forum guildlines all the time imo but no one complains. (I have)  If enough people do complain that nonsense will stop.

Ok, thanks. I thought that may be the case with personalisms, but it seems a little unfair that one can be so judgemental and hang shit on someone or many (rather an an idea), forum member or not, and be immune to receiving a response of like-nature. But I suppose it makes sense. I'll re-direct my post to PM. Ta.

And yet - there you are sitting at home crticizing someone over the internet.

When you come to Vegas, be sure to bring your racquetball racquet and we shall see who excels at something. Not sure if I have any more room in my trophy case though.

Dude, personalisms are not allowed in this forum.  Did you ever consider reading the forum guidelines before coming here to rant at other posters?

Ok. Understood, and I accept/understand my official warning. However, (while this probably belongs in PM) I must say I’ve looked at OC’s other threads about magnetic bracelets (he has six of them) and haven’t seen him ‘state his case’, provide any sources to refute them or add much ‘intelligent discussion’ on the matter (as required in the guidelines). Instead, he’s just criticised people who wear/sell them. I don’t support the bracelets, but six threads seemingly dedicated to calling people ‘gullible saps’? How is that constructive?

This thread is personalised. OC is calling out Serena Williams. I don't usually resort to name-calling, but I thought I was returning what was being served. How is calling Serena Williams ‘stoopid’ not a personalism? I can appreciate rule 5 and that I am indeed a noob – perhaps I should keep my mouth shut and observe for a while longer - but to allow six threads which offer no insight into the matter being discussed but which rather insult people (and in this case one specific person) seems to me beyond ‘discretion’.

The guidelines state you may “expose the idea under discussion as ludicrous, repugnant or whatever …but the acceptable method is to direct all your weaponry at the IDEA being presented, not at the person presenting the idea.” By my measure, OC is in breach of rules 1 & 4.

EDIT: And I didn't come in here to rant at other posters. I came here for discussion. I offered something (which, admittedly, was less than great) and in response was told I was ignorant and not clever. That wasn't a nice welcome.

He gets away with it because the mods don't want to get out-philosophised.

He gets away with it because he's and old timer who gets some slack. It takes more than one complaint to shut his nonsense down. I've done my bit but there doesn't seem to be anyone else caring enough to act. I suggest that everyone who has a problem with it to just flag every post.

Fair point, but it gets tiring reading your apparently incessant, insulting posts. I've obviously responded in the wrong fashion. The ignore button would have been a better solution. :peace:

Now do a search and list all of the other repeat threads by member and thread count.

Please fill in the blank. People who don't understand that it is the seller's duty to provide such proof and that negative 'proof' is rarely possible are _ _ _ _ _ _. (Hint: it rhymes with an imaginary St. Valentine's Day cherub.)

Thank you.

But also obviously not that honest. I certainly hope that is not a personalism.

Please don't hit me with the ban stick again, Massah.
