Well yes but I think you mean Peruvian Torch, the best thing to do is order some more and wait for about 3 years it will definatly be worth the wait.

you can trip off TRICHOCEREUS peruvianus. CEREUS makes good grafting stock for buttons I guess : P I cant see well enough to tell you anything else, but if it doesnt look like Hereish, I doubt it. Torches are a lil tricky.

Is mescaline really that much better than shrooms? Its really worth the wait of growing it and extractions and all that?

Come on its not about whats in the cacti, but for the love of the spirit plant............if your impatient and just want to get 'high', then this is not the hobby you want to be in
But to answer your question: yes!

I want to both get 'high' and grow cacti (among other plants). But if the cacti 'high' isn't too great then I wont grow/eat them for that purpose... *edit - after reading that ^ ^ it looked kinda wierd so I'm clarifing. I plan to grow the cacti, I just dunno if I will use it to trip. I'm wondering if the people that want it only to trip would really feel its worth it to grow...

if you wanna try it you can order like a foot or two to grow and a foot to dose.

Well I see mescaline as is like a mix between MDMA and ACIDthat is alot more visuial it can tend to last or about 10h +. I love this stuff though next time I am gona do an extraction cos last time the cacti was to rough on my body. It is worth the wait for growing them but there are places online that sell dryed cacti, I tend to find it is expensive to go this way though. For doses I would go for about a 50g but thats me but you might wana try 40g.

Cereus Peruvianus and Trichcereus Peruvianus often get confused with one another because of the similarities in the name. T.Peruvianus aka Peruvian Torch contains mescaline in good quantities. One the other hand the Cereus contains no mescaline but is know to contain Hordenine and Tyramine. Although the names are confusing the two cacti are easily distinguishable.
