anthropology majors?

hey all I've been considering switching my major to anthropology for next year and wanted some opinions. any anthropology majors out there? I wanted to know about career opportunities for people with anthropology degrees and any other thoughts on studying anthropology at the college level. any responses are greatly appreciated!

I am already minoring in philosophy and think it would be a good combo

I wanted to major in philosophy, but their is just nowhere to go with it. It's a fail of a course to take, unless you just enjoy going to it just for fun.

totally good combo dude, i have a phil. minor as well or at least almost.  i've only taken 1 or 2 anthro classes but had a good time with them.  i would think you could dig up t rex bones n stuff with that kind of degree  :mushroom2:

Im an anthro major. Ideally i'd like to become a gastro-anthropologist and get paid to travel the world and eat everybody's cultural foods.

I took a class over the summer: the anthropology food. it was everything i wanted it to be and more. loved it.

Anthropology is fucking amazing IMO.
It's basically the science of our humanness and is very broad and can be applied in a staggering amount of fields.

If you're into it and passionate about it, what do you have to lose other than money through student loan debt?
