Why has nobody suggested kicking it?  Does that not work?  If a dog was running at me, my first instinct would be to take a couple steps into it and lineup a huge kick to the face.

I doubt it, strikes to the head barely phase them. Watched one of mine run head first through a wood fence to get to a raccoon that sliped under, didn't even slow him down.

Maybe try to get your belt off if you aren't armed otherwise?

Might slow down the jaws a bit and would allow a bit of head/neck control.

It would all be very fast..it's tough to say.

I'd probably let my beloved pit bull whom I would be walking (why the fuck else would I be out at that ungodly hour, do you people not sleep) either make friends with it or rip it to shreds.

I think I would attempt to sidestep, then kick it in the face, then savagely try to stop it using any means necessary. but if you're getting attacked by a pit there's a good chance it ain't stoppin for shit...

unfortunately on my end the whole raping the attacking dog in the butt
thing is theoretical but like you said, it's one business end that as far
from the other business end as you can get while still getting down to business

Mr. Rogers was the only one that could pull off the adjust tie attack successfully.

If the pitbull has been neutered, there's really nothing left you can do as the dog no longer has anything to lose. And there is nothing more dangerous than fighting something with nothing left to lose.

Stamp on their legs and they will snap easier than you think, not many dogs have not been bred too have legs that can withstand a crushing force of 60-110KG, especially from an awkard angle.

If the dog still isn't letting go after having a leg or two broken, use your car key to jab the fucker in it's eyes. That should make at least give you a quick second to jog away, it will not be able to follow with a broken leg or three.

i think this is a commonly taught military method.

i know some soldeirs are taught this to defend unarmed against an attack dog.

just make sure not to get bit in the femeral(?) artery between your bones in your forarm.

so you have to offer the arm at the right angle.

after that youre supposed to either choke it out, or break its neck.

striking it really wont do much.

jamming your hand down the throat is another thing that is supposed to work if they are clamped onto your hand.
