its almost impossible to choke out a dog with a big neck or snap it unless you have decent strength i think you would have to grab it by the ears twist and push down

If you go into puppy mills during certain years they wont be breeding specific dogs because they are just too aggressive for instance dovermen pinchers.

Once you got its teeth neutralized it wouldn't be that hard to wrap your legs around its chest while giving it a rear naked choke and violently twist snapping its neck if you got enough strength if you dont just hold the choke till its dead. Crushing its treachea would also work long as you aint some 10 yr old kid nails and a adrenaline pumped grip wouldnt have a problem collapsing it.

you will not break a dogs neck unless you're dealing with a small breed
with a small neck like a chihuahua

I grew up with mean ass chow dogs my parents had for protection.

when they would start fighting in the back yard, you couldn't get them to stop.
we hit them with broomsticks.
we sprayed them with a water hose. we even went as far as trying shove the hose in their
mouths when they were locked onto each others necks to try to get them to break their holds.

we found the only thing that would get them to break was a cattle prod.





I would think the only thing to do if a dog tried to attack you is:

try to make yourself appear as big as possible.
scream in your deepest voice at the dog.
I would only try to kick the dog.  better to have it bite a shoe covered foot, if it's gonna bite something.

80 pounds of meat and teeth running at you with the only intention to kill you.  You think it will just roll over and submit?  I would brace myself and offer my arm.  When it hits I'd let the blow go past me and wrap it up.  Then try to put all my wait on its neck as I land on it.  I can imagine it just ripping back and forth tugging.  Shit would suck.  If I know my dog, I know that if shes in the mood to fight/attack she is focused on that and thats it.  Shes old and lazy now, but she had mad game and wouldn't stop hunting for anything back in the day.
