http://www.blackjackinfo.com/bb/showthread.php?t=4860Attacked Man Chokes Vicious Pit Bull
AP
CONROE, Texas (Feb. 1) - A 65-year-old retired truck driver who was attacked by a vicious pit bulldog during a neighborhood walk choked the dog to death as he defended himself.

Von Pardue suffered bites on his arms and hands during the Wednesday attack

6'5" and 200lbs, a retired trucker but also a retired marine, maybe he and
an MMA fighter can strangle a dog to death,  not much different than the
retired marine that killed a couple of gunmen on a bus on south america
several years back, he was 78

I heard Mr. Rogers killed 5 charging pitbulls by simply adjusting his necktie.

Why has nobody suggested kicking it?  Does that not work?  If a dog was running at me, my first instinct would be to take a couple steps into it and lineup a huge kick to the face.

I doubt it, strikes to the head barely phase them. Watched one of mine run head first through a wood fence to get to a raccoon that sliped under, didn't even slow him down.

Maybe try to get your belt off if you aren't armed otherwise?

Might slow down the jaws a bit and would allow a bit of head/neck control.

It would all be very fast..it's tough to say.

So then you're trying to fight a raging pitbull while your ass is hanging out and you're trying to put up your pants every 5 seconds because you're tripping all over them.

:brilliant: strategy Ace.

So I think we've exhausted all the brutal ways to try to stop a charging dog from killing you, so lets go back the start of the circle.

I think Pris is onto something here.

A dogs butt is far away from its teeth
and I presume a pretty sensitive area, but sensitive enough to stop it biting you?

How would an anal attack on an dog go down?
I'm sure you have an anecdote for us here Pris :smirk:

successfully pulled off, the dog would be tamed, stricken with Post traumatic ass raping disorder.

I'd probably let my beloved pit bull whom I would be walking (why the fuck else would I be out at that ungodly hour, do you people not sleep) either make friends with it or rip it to shreds.
dogless? Remain calm. let him absorb my fantastic vibes, smell my pit on me, then allow him to roll over in front of my as I scratched his stomach.
I ain't scared of dogs since I got a pit, never will be either, at least in a setting where it ain't trynna drink my fuckin blood. barking, acting tough, etc don't intimidate me anymore. Mine fucking TERRIFIES other people but they truly are the best breed in the world.
I will never own another type of dog:cool:
but no, on the real, if some viscous mafugga started chargin at me, you rest assured I would do my fuckin best to beat that thing into submission before it got a grip on me. I think I would attempt to sidestep, then kick it in the face, then savagely try to stop it using any means necessary. but if you're getting attacked by a pit there's a good chance it ain't stoppin for shit...

unfortunately on my end the whole raping the attacking dog in the butt
thing is theoretical but like you said, it's one business end that as far
from the other business end as you can get while still getting down to business

But I think a good leather belt would be useful, the pants could even be useful. Let em fall off.

Heavens to Betsy no...

Mr. Rogers was the only one that could pull off the adjust tie attack successfully.

If the pitbull has been neutered, there's really nothing left you can do as the dog no longer has anything to lose. And there is nothing more dangerous than fighting something with nothing left to lose.

Stamp on their legs and they will snap easier than you think, not many dogs have not been bred too have legs that can withstand a crushing force of 60-110KG, especially from an awkard angle.

If the dog still isn't letting go after having a leg or two broken, use your car key to jab the fucker in it's eyes. That should make at least give you a quick second to jog away, it will not be able to follow with a broken leg or three.

thats a good idea, offer up the arm then snap the neck

i think this is a commonly taught military method.

i know some soldeirs are taught this to defend unarmed against an attack dog.

just make sure not to get bit in the femeral(?) artery between your bones in your forarm.

so you have to offer the arm at the right angle.

after that youre supposed to either choke it out, or break its neck.

striking it really wont do much.

jamming your hand down the throat is another thing that is supposed to work if they are clamped onto your hand.

just be quicker than the dog..

and avoid situations where you have to defend yourself against a trained dog.
