Bible Degree

Why is this generally socially accepted as something worthwhile? Why not a degree in Dr. Seuss? Makes as much sense to me.

For a real Bible degree, major in history or archeology not mythical fantasy taught by nutjobs who believe the earth is 4000 years old and that the key to immortality is some fictitious water-walking rabbi.

It makes no sense to me either. You can get a PhD in divinity, but why can't you get one in Flying Spaghetti Monster?

I made a thread about this a while back. It's called A PhD in FSM.

With a "Bible Degree", you usually work in religious organizations.  I do not recall Apple or Microsoft hiring people with a Bible Degree. 

I you want to start a spaghetti monster school, then go ahead.  Nobody says you can't.  Just be sure you only hire other spaghetti graduates
