It's exactly the same as with a woman. How many times have you had a boner and not been able to get rid of it? Even when you think "unsexy thoughts"....it's not like you can always flip a switch, plus, even if someone is touching you and you're not willing, guess what? Sometimes you respond...it's easy for people who haven't been raped to imagine that couldn't ever happen to them. For some it wouldn't, others it would. Some women will get wet when they are raped if a rapist stimulates her or does something that normally would turn her on, it doesn't mean it's not rape - it's the body's reaction to physical stimulation. Fear doesn't always work to stop this.
Also I'm not male but I was raped before....a lot...>< There are books about male rape out there and while you have people say it's different, really, it's all violation of your body, and worse, just different perspectives by society on the deniability or validity of rape depending on which gender. Females have to deal with proving they didn't want the rape to occur, just as a male is questioned when it's female on male rape. But females deal with a world that is against them day-in day-out, where as males don't (in Western society), so there is that aspect to female rape which is missing in male, but...then you have male-on-male rape, which victims then for some reason can struggle with questions of their sexuality, people don't report it much, but frankly, neither do women...when DA's place the burden on the victim to show bruises, cuts, marks, or have some other proof that they struggled and were injured, and even then, "maybe they like it rough" can be said, or asked for it. Fuck rape.
