For the times you've had bad trips ......

how much did you take? [wet or dry]


I'm curious if it's possible to bad trip [variable per person, but ..] off of a small amount? [1-2 grams]

In my opinion bad trips are less dose related and more set,setting and psychological condition related (at the time you dose)....

the recommended dosages holds true for most of the population but in case you are one of the lucky people who have an extremely high sensitivity towards shrooms then you will have a higher dose effect at the dosages you mentioned...which does not mean a bad trip necessarily...

7 grams dry...the beginning was horrible but the ending was incredible

Like what was said before, as long as your in a place you're comfortable with and with peole you're comfortable with, all should be well. But, keep in mind, the more you ingest, the more likely the chances you'll have a bad trip. I'm not saying you will have a bad trip, just that the chances are greater at higher doses. Anything less then 3 dry grams and your bad trip chances are minimal. Anything more then 3.5 dry grams and risk increases. But that's not set in stone. I've had some bad trips at 2 grams and some really great trips at 5 grams. So I guess there really isn't any set formula to follow to avoid a bad trip. Just know that they aren't that common comapred to good trips. Of all the times I have consumed mushrooms I believe I have only had 4 or 5 bad trips.

Don't be affraid of a bad trip either... if it happens, it happens. You'll just have to roll with the punches. I have found out more about myself in my bad trips then I have in my good trips. Once you have the knowledge of what makes a trip go bad for you... in the future you can try to avoid it or perhaps have the abilty to turn your trip around if it goes bad.

But to answer your question directly, the majority of my bad trips were on dosages more then 4 grams dried.

yes, "bad" trips aren't actually bad. They can just be difficult. The funny thing about the only two "bad" episodes I've ever had is that I was feeling not very high and pretty good right before they kicked in. Didn't see them coming at all.

Both times were 3 gram doses. Usually I dose higher. I think I'm going to avoid the 3 grammer for a while and stick with four at least.
