the way you were acting, i probably would've assumed the same thing.  especailly if you were pissy/tissy and threw your benzo bottle in his face and were like "thsi shit doesnt work, i need something else".

emergency rooms aren't the place to get prescriptions for shit -- they just assume you're abusing the system to get some drugs.  can't blame him - he probably sees it alllllll the time.

go to your schools health center.

I had the side effect of extreme anger from K-pins (its a rare and unlisted side effect).

My doctor told me...
That I didn't have any side effects.
To find god.
To never question what she prescribes me "She's a doctor, she obviously knows what shes doing".

...Then she accused me of being a satanist for wearing a hemp necklace with a glass pendant. I'M A FUCKING GLASS ARTIST!

I wanted to kick the bitch in the ovaries. I wonder if she's aware that medical malpractice is the 3rd leading cause of DEATH in the US.

What Benzo are you prescribed? I was prescribed Klonopin and it has been working wonders for me.

Lorazapam.

Talk to your Doctor, Lorazepam is on the lower end for Benzo potency. Ask for Klonopin or Xanax, hopefully that will do the trick.

Oh yea Dec 31 of 09 we were on the way to an appointment and slid on ice, we flipped and i ended up in the ER strapped to a backboard. in the ambulance i told them all the meds i was on and that i had a pain contract. in the ambulance they insisted on giving me something for pain(i broke my ankle in two places and severely sprained my lower back, and a concussion) when i got to the ER the nurses had me re list everything i was on when i got to the methadone she interrupted me and said "so your a junky you won't get anything here" i explained that they were for chronic pain and she said they don't give it for that and walked out of the room leaving me strapped to the backboard and neck-brace, alone having a panic attack and didn't come back into the room for an hour and thirteen minutes. i still have nightmares and it was one of the most humiliating experiences I've went through.
Sorry for how you were treated no one should be treated like they are garbage just never go there again.  Peace

one time i went to the er when i was attempting to go cold turkey off subutex and i happened to come down with the flu or some bug at the same time... i was having a really hard time keeping anything down and was extremely sick

everything was going real well then i got piss or blood tested, can't remember which and i showed positive for both benzos and cocaine after vehemently denying any drug use... completely forgot either was in my system and needless to say they kicked my ass out

IMHO most "mental health" problems like the OP are iatrogenic ones. I just don't know if people should be fed pills, it's symptom shifting at its best.

Of course, because you've never experienced them, they dont exist or are "not legit."

Uh?

I've experienced far more (needless) anxiety caused by pill pushing doctors (and drug pushing dealers) to cope with symptoms borne out of childhood.  I didn't say they (disorders) weren't "legit" or "non-existent", I said the focus of symptomology has shifted with the kind help of pharmaceutical companies and the friendly street hustler.

We're not talking diabetes here, where the drug is needed to live, we're talking about how medicine all too often gets on it's own soap box and refuse to accept responsibility for turning the public into their self fulfilling prophecy.  Treat people as an addict and that is what they become.
