Ever feel like you can't conquer the evil in this world?

unfortunately,

i've learned alot about how fucked up the world is lately/

I know about the US and britain are fucking everyone over, bout the grand evil scheme, bout the balance of energy being screwed with, and about how there are thousands of hungry, homeless, and unfairly treated people out there that i don't know how how to help.

my great realization started with finding out about the educate-yourelf website after learning about how aliens are really out there.

Now i can't stop focusing on the negatives on this plantet. tripping i couldnt stand to even look at the world map i have on my wall because it reminded me of the bad in this world.

Ever since a month or two ago though i've been solely looking to get fucked up to forget about the problems this place has. thats how bad its gotten.



could someone reassure me that good will conquer, and that happy endings are possible? I'm starting to lose my faith in humanity. :frown:

Focus on your life and what you want to do with it. If something is out of control, it's not much use to speculate about. IMO

I agree the world can be such a fucked up place full of evil and hate. I too have found myself in mental ruts pondering this same thing and all I've come up with is that there's a lot of good in this world too.

You'll drive yourself insane worrying about things you have no control over, what you can do is make little changes in your own world to improve the lives of those closest to you.

even if i decide to become an aid worker or something so i can help at least, i feel like that experience would expose me to more bad than good.

i think im in a temporary state of hopelessness, and i need to get out.

One person can have a surprisingly large positive effect on the world. In the war against evil, knowledge is your most powerful weapon. With the invention of the internet, it's now easier to get your message to more people. The odds may be against you but if everyone who opposed evil just gave up, the world would be much worse than it is today. :bliss:

The world govts etc are a direct reflection of the internal state of the species at large.

Good and bad are human constructs. All the negative and positive in this world are just a part of the collective balance. for every good, their is a bad :yinyang: The bad seems worse than the good, but i've come to the conclusion that the good comes in trillions of small occurences, whereas the bad happens on a larger scale

A certain degree of "evil" can be recognized, yet it's not what we're classically taught that evil is.  There is no group of people screwing the world over for their own aristocratic desires.  It's all of our own little evils that work in concert to form the ultimate cruelty, complacency.  If you bought your computer, you failed to realize the many environmental evils that the factories spew onto the earth.  If you shop at Walmart, you are being willingly complacent to the needs of those who run small businesses that specialize in the things Walmart wholesales.  If you are sitting at home right now, you are not fighting a life or death war against the oppressors of any number of third world countries to save their defenseless people.  The grand evil is us, and until we can learn to come to terms with, and eventually give a damn, about it to the very tiniest detail, then evil will still exist.  There's nothing we can do besides everything. 
    Be at ease, human kinds struggle is not new.  Do what you comfortably can and feel happy because you're directly negating the millions who do nothing.  The simple fact that you care puts you on a higher plane than many.  Nature and time will fix everything in the end, and they are both happy that you bothered to even notice.  Be at ease...

My favorites are weeping willows, which aren't really weeping at all. They're very wispy, witty and will dance in the breeze with you. Nothing like a tree that wants to dance with you. Although it doesn't like its thin limbs being pulled at all, it absolutely LOVES it when you walk through them, letting them gently slide over your face and shoulders. I found that whenever I am discontent about something in the outside world, it is only a reflection of my own problems, misunderstandings, and fears.
You can't possibly know for a fact that there's a grand evil scheme out there. Evil is what we see in things we feel are beyond our control, things that we don't know or understand.
Educate yourself, focus on growing as a person and think about all the things that you can personally do to make your life better, and quit thinking that the world should be any different just because you think it should. You're not the only person living on this planet and everyone has a different idea about how things should be. The only thing you can change is yourself. :shrug:

May I suggest not watching the news or reading online news (unless it's good news, like scientific finds etc.)? Because the news channels just want to captivate you with shitty things that are happening so they can get badass ad profits between breaks. In fact stop watching TV altogether. It's not reality denial, because then the TV is apparently deciding reality for you. Just take care of your own life. Your soul/energy body is immortal, tend to it.

Ignorance = bliss, I find this to be true, while I do see this as true, I do see it true that I personally would feel discontent having not learnt stuff about thangs, as I enjoy learning.

This world is messed up, but thats only because we became concious, just relax, get on with your life, do things that make you happy, give back to this planet in what ever way you can and enjoy! Life really isn't complicated, we just make it complicated by becoming concious about it, just like you can start stressing over killing a bug, most times you wouldn't have cared but when you become concious of what you have done emotions come in and make you feel guilty.

Just accept that things aren't how you want them to be, by sitting here and worrying and getting wasted doesn't help, chances are one person can't make a hug impact (depending on their authority) but you can help, go plant trees, go help kids in third world countries, help animals, shit the list is endless. Once you accept it, it is then time to make a difference, so go do something, because getting wasted only fuels that denial!

Yes I agree with this completly, I cannot watch the news when I am in a bad mood, I will sit there and just yell and swear and wave my hands around like an idiot lol I also can't watch it because all they show is the new cure for obesity haha! Exercise and healthy diet you dumbasses!! gah! But that is true, it isn't reality denial, because TV is an invention, if it didn't exist all you would worry about is whats happening around you, you won't be phishing for other worldy problems.
