Is there some way you can live in a world your imagination makes....Through meditation or something...A world your mind creates, like a crazy world your imagination can think of...to experience it. hmm

I don't know where to start...
For meditation I sit there and focus on my breathing and try to silence my thoughts..

of course man, one could even argue were all doing that right now. but i know what your meaning. it all depends on your powers of visualisation. its entirely possible to create and imaginary world that is as real as the everyday one. a simple example is the 'happy place' meditation. basically you lie down, breath deeply (usually you would do a whole muscle relazation process) then once you are fully relaxed you imagine yourself in a 'safe place' a happy place where you feel comfortable. you try to see it, hear it, smell the smells, taste the tastes. in other words you mentally fill in all the composite aspects of reality. at first this might be very vague but with time the place will come quicker, more ocncretely more clearly. I use this often when lieing in bed trying to fall asleep its very relaxing. My 'happy place' is a lush patch of green grass surrounded by dank smelly marijuana plants. In front of this is a fountain of clear water. With time you can leave your initial spot and explore further, expanding the area in your head. I have st of down a dirt path, walked to a seashore and meditated there (meditation within meditation ) i have taked another path thru a lush green woods, or into a bamboo building that is home to a wise old man who grows bonsai trees. ive had conversations with him. I first tried this in a meditation or relaxation course at school and have done it semi frequently since then. i believe the possibilities are endless (i like to mentally smoke the dope) anyways, try it out, i dont know if my description fo the process was very thurough but look around and youll find lots of info. enjoy

Meditation is beyond explaniation for me. Once I enter the meditative mind state I feel as if my mind has stretched out across the universe, and my body is but a speck, and the longer i meditate the farther out my conciousness spreads. I feel no need to create in the voidness of conciousness, because in that voidness is the very essence of creation, being.

for sure, it's called the world of psychedelia. although most psychedelics simply enhance the meditative state.
as for the meditation thing, just be here now. all other thoughts and preoccupations are meaningless. everything flows in harmony in mother nature as is; you don't need to *do* anything at all. i think that's the irony of meditation.
peace, tim.

like some poeple already pointed out - i think the task is to live in a world that isn't created by the mind - we fool ourselves so many times with our fucked up thoughts ... the world is how we see it ... my quest: i try not to see it like i sometimes do ...

I couldn't have said it better myself. In meditation, do not try to achieve any state of mind, for in doing so, you will fail miserably. Just be, thats all their is to it. Bring in the world through your nose, and let it out through your mouth. Try sitting in the Zazen position, legs crossed, hand at the belly button, back straight, chin down, push your diaphragm downwards, and breathe.

Psychosis is essentially a world of falsehoods and delusions that your mind creates. But I don't think you have to be psychotic to experience such a world.
