Here there is no student and there is no master. Only those who wish to discuss in order to broaden there views on this subject.

I think everyone who posts in this forum has some type of internal drive towards something more than what we are offered in the contemporary (specifically Western) world. What makes us different? I'm not sure.

And I'll add this type of stuff amounts to the vast majority of what I think about during my days.

IMO spirituality is a result of magical thinking based in death anxiety. :shrug:

Spirit is the placeholder for future scientific observations and terminology. I think there is plenty of energy that we are not aware of (at least as a whole), let alone be able to interpret.

Riddle me this- out of complete nothingness, what are the odds you'd be alive, on a rock we named Earth, orbiting a rather conveniently placed, life breathing star we call the sun? Your conscious right now, right? You can feel that, right? Seems pretty magical to me.

The odds are 100%. Things happen because they can. None of this happens to be magic imo. It's all perfectly natural to the universe we inhabit.
