Wow. That took a long time. I read a lot.

Sexuality is more than a biochemical reaction. Put at its simplest it used to be thought it was a pure biological impulse. Thanks to Freud-OK, no thanks to him, the coked up nutbag-
Sexuality was put into a forefront in the then-beginning psychological sciences. That wasn't his intent, but I digress...

There is a very, very high rate of abuse-both sexual and non-that occurs by people who were abused themselves UNLESS they take steps to understand and come to terms with what happened.

Does this mean everyone who was molested will themselves molest? No. But some people do. By speaking about it, coming to terms with it, and understanding (or trying to) why such an unspeakable act would be performed towards someone this person loved, will help in harm reduction.
