Posting pictures....how can i?

this might not be in the right place so if not im sorry but i cant seem to add pictures to my posts? a friend wants me to do a grow log for him and we cant figure out how to use pictures because it says the files are too big? can someone please help...thanks in advance

this isn't a cultivation question and should prolly be moved to the feedback forum but I'll toss you a hint. using your graphics prog (and the directions for doing this greatly differentiate between packages) you want to save the pic as a compressed format such as jpg or gif and use a higher rate of compression and/or save using less colors in the pallete (gif). Good progs for this are Photoshop/image ready. I'm sure there are lots more but this is what i use. a lot of times you can specify a max file size (<100K in this case) and the graphic prog can automatically downgrade the pic just enough to get it under the max size.

Also, rescale them as most digital camera's take pictures at 2048x1024 or higher
