Dunking, circumstances of when Not TO Dunk
    #12163747 -

being somewhat of a noob i was wondering, when myc is growing in jars and torward end of colonization water develops in the jar should it be dunked after. Should a cake be dunked if it is colonizing in a humid place and water starts to develop in the jar? it seems like if the cake needed that water it would absorb it. also if condensation develops in the jar when its about 100% colonized should it be birthed? or givin a week to consolidate w water in the jars?

The condensation droplets in a jar is not going to hydrate it. They still need to have a 24 hour dunk. Weight a cake before a dunk and after you will see.

Cakes should always consolidate. That condensation you see in the jars is normal

Wait till 100% colonization, wait seven days after that, dunk for 24 hours, then roll, thats it, even if you see water droplets in your jars, the cakes need to be rehydrated
