again, alcohol withdrawal is not an effect of addiction.


A hangover is alcohol withdrawal, but for full blown alcoholics (24/7 drinkers), the real withdrawal (from physical addiction, not just from the alcohol leaving your system) can kill. Benzos and alchohol are the only drug withdrawals that can lead to death.
