That's what I've been hearing from news reports.

While this is bad, is the UN forgetting less than 6 years ago? 

230k+ died in the tsunami of December 26, 2004.

When I was a kid I didn't understand how people got killed by earthquakes.

I knew how people in buildings and stuff died in quakes... buildings fell on them.. but for people standing out on a street or in a field - I thought they just fell over and like "gave up". Kind of like knocking a chess board by accident and a few pieces fall and stay there.

I think I was 3. It feels like one of those very early memories.

it's an entirely different conspiracy that it was all pre-written and
