Huh.  Interesting.  I've never made tea with fresh shrooms.  I figured it would be far more difficult for psilocin oxidize underwater.  All the psilocybin will still be in tact though.

Lemon juice to prevent psilocin oxidation.  Interesting again.  I guess that makes sense though.  Don't think it has anything to do with the lemon tek though, but hmm..

chilled tea from fresh shrooms with honey and lime.. ive never used lemon... taste as good as its gonna get.. many like the taste quite a bit..
sorta took the idea from using lime to prevent oxidation from making guac.. considering both citric acid and ascorbic acid are used for this in many applications

Your confusing me, That is my fav part of fresh shroom tea.

You guys are really sucking the fun out of shrooms for me by being so focused on what if anything is gained or lost thru various prep methods that ALL have proven track records for getting people fucked up. :sad:

So am I allowed to put bud inside the caps, cover in butter and cheese and zap in the microwave?

I havent tried that yet....... But it sounds pretty tasty, I bet it would stink up a small apartment. :rofl:

I never got this.  Empty stomachs are no fun. When I tried eating shrooms on an empty stomach I ate everything in sight when I was tripping.  ::hst:

I have no idea if this would work but do you think that if you misted fresh picked shrooms with lime juice it would also help prevent the oxidation during the drying process.
