Of course I believe all those military reports. Do you think dozens of military officials conspired together to conjure up some bullshit story to report to their superiors? What purpose, exactly, does that serve anybody involved?
Quote: Besides when is the last time you took Billy Bob's account of a UFO serious? Out of all those sightings how many of those are real, and verifiable?
I'm not interested in the tens of thousands of reports streaming in each year by "Billy Bob". I'm concerned and interested in only the verifiable incidents proven through both multiple military witness testimony as well as the radar reports backing up their story. We know these events have taken place as the evidence is overwhelming.
Quote: You obviously don't know much about religion or ancient civilizations, if you did you would understand that the information inside many of these texts unfolds countless truths about this topic. Whether you decide to look into these sources is entirely up to you. Your misunderstanding towards these texts and artifacts is apparent though.
Texts and artifacts all corroborating the same story huh? Please bring forth just one tidbit of evidence regarding your claim so I can put forth effort in digging up some information for myself. I won't bother you to do the dirty work, but if what you say is true then you should have no trouble producing something of substance. I know right now at this very moment I could drop a pile of official government documents and reports on your desk that stack up 30 feet high. So please provide some evidence so I can either verify or debunk your claims. Thanks.
I like your first reply because it makes me question your awareness. As if the level of conspiracy doesn't go deeper or farther. Seriously, when has the military not lied? Most operations are classified and the public has no idea until years later. I can't believe you would say you would believe ALL OF THE REPORTS, unquestionably. IMO, that sounds naive. The point being, you cant trust a report simply because it comes from the military. Especially when there's evidence that OUR military has made contact with these beings... whether or not that information is also accurate, it still brings the military into question.
Now don't get me wrong, I don't disagree with you on verifiable accounts that come from radar transmissions. These obviously have enough backing to be considered legit. Where then your point about these UFO'S or USO's not causing harm to the personnel can be considerably accurate. However, for all we know, it can be a separate clandestine military or agency actually operating some (or most) of these spaceships (whatever you want to call them). Then again, my point of the conspiracy being never-ending brings me to the idea that you can't just take these military accounts as guaranteed no more than you can take any data as guaranteed.
In this thread alone I gave two examples of religious documents dating thousands of years ago that talk about ET's, and UFO's (particularly from the Vedic Tradition and Gnostic texts). Now I can give you lists upon lists of books you can read that delve right into this topic or I can just name religious texts and ancient documents that you can read yourself, which I can say, is very time consuming.
Books:
Chariots of the Gods?: Unsolved Mysteries of the Past by Erich von Däniken
Child of the Stars by Max H. Flint and Otto O. Binder Mankind
Ur of the Chaldees by Sir Leonard Woolley
Archaic Egypt by Professor W. B. Emery
Before Civilization by Colin Renfrew’s
Uriel’s Machine by Christopher Knight and Robert Lomas
The Neanderthal Enigma by James Shreeve
Texts, Artifacts, Ancient Civilizations:
Nag Hammadi
Dead Sea Scrolls
The Tanakh
The Mahabharata
In China we find theories about an alien race called the Dropa who left behind fascinating discs.
The Popol Vuh, sacred to the Mayans, unequivocally states, "Men came from the stars, knowing everything, and they examined the four corners of the sky and the Earth's round surface."
The Chilam Balaam, is even more explicit and states "Beings descended from the sky in flying vessels...white men in flying rings, who can touch the sky."
Sumerian "Gods," These Gods were called the Nephilim Nefilim, Elohim, the Anunnaki - "Those who from Heaven to Earth came." (Also found in the Tanakh or Bible)
These images were found on the ceiling beams of a 3000-year old New Kingdom Temple, located several hundred miles south of Cairo and the Giza Plateau, at Abydos.

7,000 B.C. - The Lolladoff plate, discovered in Nepal

6000 BC from Tassili, Sahara Desert, North Africa.

Wandjina petroglyphs from Kimberley, Australia.

llustration depicting a sighting of a burning wheel in the year 900 over Japan.

The list goes on and on and I mentioned it once in this thread already, but a great book that provides many sources to this same type of topic (aliens/ET's in ancient civilizations, religions, and mythology) is Atlantis, Alien Visitation & Genetic Manipulation which you can download here in PDF:

There's too much data on this subject, there's no verifying or debunking. It's just there, and always has been. It is simply a matter of taking the evidence available, and creating your own understanding ("were the majority of these visitors benevolent or malevolent over time?"). All across the globe, whether it was a tribe or a somewhat established civilization. They all have the same story to tell. Whether they're talking about the same exact beings or not, it is irrelevant. The fact of the matter is these civilizations on Earth for many years have seen from first hand experience intervention from outer-worldly beings.
A good documentary (not familiar with this newest one, but there's one from a couple years ago that was awesome and gave plenty of visual and literary examples) is Ancient Aliens (History Channel) which delves into this subject also:
