Contrary to what you say, tens of thousands of UFO reports stream in each year all across our globe with no reported harm or malevolent activity attached with them. Not all of those are of extraterrestrial origin obviously, but it's safe to assume not all of them are false flags either. This pattern has repeated itself year after year.
UFOs seen over multiple military bases have shut down their weapon systems without causing any harm to the personnel who witnessed the events. UFOs have also shut down the weapons system of fighter pilots scrambled to intercept them. Again, no fight ensued between the UFO and fighter pilots. The real, documented and reported evidence speaks volumes more than a book or books written by someone to make money and/or gain some notoriety.
Quote: It's not that I don't believe in benevolent species existing out there, because there obviously are. However, the majority of the ones who've visited and intervened on our planet have been recorded throughout history as being "evil," thus doing terrible things to our species (see Nag Hammadi - Origin of the World)
Oh of course, silly me. I forgot to read that book which happens to have all the answers for us. I think that's been tried before..what's the name of it? Ah yes, the Bible. Books are great, but extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence, none of which can be definitively proven through any of the books you listed, much like the Bible. How convenient for the authors.
How ironic is it that some of the biggest believers our there also happen to be the biggest skeptics? I find myself in this category because quite frankly, 95% of the bullshit out there just isn't aimed at uncovering the truth.
You believe all those reports? Actually you believe those reports more than you believe sacred and ancient documents that all say the same thing? It's one thing if one book, regardless of when it was made, says something (it can always just be "made up" as you put it), but if they all are telling the same stories and the books are in various locations across the globe. Then you have yourself an accurate source.
Besides when is the last time you took Billy Bob's account of a UFO serious? Out of all those sightings how many of those are real, and verifiable?
You obviously don't know much about religion or ancient civilizations, if you did you would understand that the information inside many of these texts unfolds countless truths about this topic. Whether you decide to look into these sources is entirely up to you. Your misunderstanding towards these texts and artifacts is apparent though.

I disagree. Human beings have evolved much in the past 500 years, even the past century... I mean, how many actual wars are still being fought today globally? Not many, and not nearly as many as there used to be.
Yes, governments and social systems are as corrupt as ever, but you can plainly see the "conscious" portion of humanity is growing, and has been since the 1960's. I would not label our species malevolent as a whole. We are a mixed bag, with as many different habits and individual morals as there are people. Of course there are murderers, rapists, etc, but nowhere near the majority of humanity falls into this category, not even close.
You can't really say that human beings are "good" or "evil". There is simply too much variation among us.
As for there being architects that control the destiny of our race, I find it totally possible, if not likely. If you look at how the human race just "magically appeared" in the evolution of Earth, there must be a novel explanation as evolution itself hasn't even begun to explain it. (When confronted with this oddity, scientists usually just give the equivalent of shrugged shoulders).
Again, I'd like to give our species the benefit of the doubt like you do, however it's just not there. Have we really evolved? Do you actually look around and observe people in public? Do you talk to people? I really cant say we've evolved consciously. Sure, there's obviously some sort of change occurring but seriously I think you're being way too generous here.
I also wouldn't say we're malevolent as a whole, but the leaders are. Even the people who blindly participate in Law Enforcement and Military without knowing what they're doing is wrong. You ever see the movie the Fifth Element? Leeloo, the cosmic messiah almost allows the destruction of the Earth. Why? She believes the race isn't worth keeping alive because she sees how calamitous and violent the race is. It isn't until some convincing, she decides to change her mind. However, there's much to be said about that scene. It really portrays for a brief moment, the third person perspective of what they see when they think about Earth. From how inefficient we are in how we treat our planet, and the people, animals, plants, on it.
I don't disagree with the Good or Evil part, because yes there's variation. However, I still try to picture or envision how someone else would look at our planet as a neutral perspective. I don't disagree with your last part either.
