Why is constant vigil needed?  To protected the lives of the gullible?  Earlier you made a thread in which you expressed the sentiment that the lives of starving Africans are not worth prolonging through aid, based on sweeping generalizations about the continent.  Why is it more valuable to maintain a rational vigilence to prevent incidents like 2 gullible people dying in a sweat-lodge from occurring?

I don't know exactly what happened, but I would not be at all surprised if everyone who was adversely affect were...white. This was a Native American type of ceremony, from what I read, and Native American spirits are NOT happy with what the White Man has done to their holy ancestral lands. I've heard from Nature that such spirits have been working tremendously hard to rupture the veil between the Spirit World and the physical world so that they can take revenge!

I made nothing up. I first read the news from another website that had erroneous information to which I added an addendum as soon as I got more accurate data.

Well, he needs the money for the civil trial.

Not sure what kind of desperate individual would pay $10K for shitty acoomodations, a pep talk and a sauna. Blow it on a cruise ship or Sandals Resort or hookers & drugs - anything more substantial.
