Since your feiends mushrooms are not bluing, they are not Psilocybe cyanescens.

Here's my look-alikes.  When I first saw the caps I thought I had scored, but the stipe killed it.  An ID on this forum confirmed that "they were not the droids I was looking for."

Do you think it would be safe to say that no poisonous ps cyan lookalike is going to both bruise blue and have the same dark brown/purple spore print?



btw guys, in my experience the blue staining is very obvious, especially 5 or so minutes after you pick them. if you can't see obvious staining on the stem, it's probably not a cyan. spore print it and post pics

There is no other mushroom that will exhibit those two features and not contain psilocybin.

conocybe filaris is definitely one to look out for. find it a lot in my sub patches.

Yes.

All the mushrooms that fit that description are active Psilocybes.

so what are the original photos in this thread of? the title is deadly cyan lookalikes... and those look a lot like something that might be mistaken for cyan. what exactly is that?
