TERENCE McKENNA Fact or fucktard?

I just listened to an interview with MvKenna by Art Bell. I found his theories interesting and somewhat convincing. Especially alien abduction. According to this 1997 interview Terence claims abductions are dream related, BUT DMT is the culprit. He outright admitted seeing them after smoking DMT.
Its hard to explain but we all know DMT is naturally produced in our brains, why? we don't know. But it is under the influence of DMT that many people have seen tiny creatures with large heads, including McKenna.
He believes the mind is the pathway to the next dimension. I happen to agree but how will we achieve this? Am I just as crazy as McKenna or do you think he speaks truth?

McKenna was so far ahead of his time, we're still trying to catch up to him!

I believe this. This is a very simple way of saying it, and the point is made clearly. I think we should study more about the human brain considering we know very little about it.

I wish I could use just 5% more of my brain. Imagine what we could learn just using a small percentage more of our brains.

well of course the mind is the way to the next dimension. Our physical bodies can't be in more than... well more than "one time at a time", but we can THINK about ten years ago AND tomorrow and ten years from now practically simultaneously
I REALLY REALLY dig mckenna's ideas. Everything I heard and read from him except the timewave is very very good stuff

I think that Terrance wondered what the truth was himself in his final days. He is quoted as saying he did not know.
For my personal perspective I think he was/is as close as most people ever get to the truth. A brilliant man.

I always liked how Terrence never pushed his ideas as the absolute truth. His quote about the mushroom voice was something like "I treat it as I would an eccentric friend over for tea. When the voice says 'we are a life form who comes from outer space' I say 'oh really, that's what you say'" (something vaguely like that). It's cool that he admits he's just speculating like crazy, and that whatever he says may or may not be true. That's a cool way to spend one's life.

Yes I agree - thats one of the best things about his claims - everything he said, he would often even make fun of because he understood that these are things nobody can know until there is actual solid proof. He would fully admit that he's basically just throwing ideas and metaphors out on the table for inspection
I believe all of us should communicate in this way - I try to do so all the time, but often-times slip up and make it sound like my BELIEFS are in fact a REALITY, which cannot be proven this is why I recently added that signature (thx Murex)

In an interview he was asked what he'd do if nothing happened on Dec. 12 2012, he said at least he had the balls to take a guess and he had time to cash in on his theory. (something to that effect anyway)
-------------------- Alice came to a fork in the road. "Which road do I take?" she asked.
"Where do you want to go?" responded the Cheshire cat.
"I don't know," Alice answered.
"Then," said the cat, "it doesn't matter."
