Terence McKenna and mushrooms

Since I've finally been able to approach spirituality and such through use of mushrooms, I think it's time I do some more indepth reading in people who have given this much thought. Aside from the various interesting people on this board, natch ;-)
Therefore, could anyone recommend a good starting book for Terence McKenna - specifically if it deals with his writings on use of mushrooms? I'm talking entry-level (for him) type stuff -- I've had my fill of Leary, Huxley, RAW and the like for now

I would suggest Food Of The Gods to start out with. As it says on the cover "The search for the original tree of knowledge. A radical history of plants, drugs, and human evolution."

For McKenna downloads go to; http://mckenna.psychedelic-library.org/ Try the series entitled McGreen (which is actually History Ends In Green) first probably, he goes into mushrooms and their usage in depth, enjoy, I know I did.

If you want a taster of what McKenna is all about, then I suggest you buy a CD called "Alien Dreamtime". Listen to it while tripping, and see what happens.

I have True Hallucinations and Archaic Revival by McKenna, I recommend checking out both, although I hear Food of the Gods is the best.
I have some recommendations for two excellent books:
1) High Priest, by Timothy Leary Really awesome, Leary recounts many of his mushroom and acid trips, and reports on giving mushrooms to rehabilitate prisoners. Very very good book.
2) DMT: The Spirit Molecule, by Rick Strassman I love this book, there are really interesting trip reports and info on DMT/psilocybin.

My favorite McKenna speech is Starwood1.mp3, where he talks about his famous DMT trip and meets the elves.
