The dose response curve is different for those two drugs, keep in mind.  While corresponding dosages exist at one level, say, an eigth to a good hit, they get out of phase as you move into higher dosages.

In my Opinion LSD creates a mind set that tends to focus on what is currently going on in your life and has you go through things and trys to have you change the things you percieve to be bad in your life into a positive outcome. It tends to focus the attention on thing in the moment and gives you a judgemental view on most of the things you are involved with in that current situtation. With Psilocybin Its more of a Spirtual trip and you become more aware of your inner being and you tend to lose touch with the things you normally associate yourself with giving you a new outlook on life and what it can offer. With Acid the visuals tend to be more geometric and are created only after looking at something that reseambles the hallucination rather than on shrooms where the hallucinations seem quite spontaneous and dont have as much as a vivid tezture to them. I like LSD and have had many expirences with it as I can get pure crystals. But I honestly like Mushrooms alot more because I can get more in touch with myself rather than just being able to observe myself and critique what I am doing.

I for sure agree with this. Stars on shrooms just morph into weird irrelevant shapes and shit. Once they turned into this giant lobster and it was moving and stuff. Pretty cool, but on acid they build and build on themselves in these trippy geometric patterns. I don't necessarily prefer one to the other. Acid is wicked but the mind-fuck is sometimes really undesirable. I can't control what I think and I don't like it. Shrooms I always come out with some sort of positive revelation. Shrooms feel good for my mind.

I joined the shroomery just to post on this thread.

I've taken acid probably 5 times, and mushrooms I've lost count probably in the 30s.

When I took acid, the first 40 minutes felt like I just drank coffee, but I was really clear headed. Then over time it would feel like I was seeing the world in the third person, really getting what would refer to as "heady".

Acid seems different than mushrooms in the way that you slowly approach ego loss. The waves of Acid's influence seem to rise and fall more slowly, where as mushrooms, I can feel completely normal and the next minute I'm lost in the fibers of a towel.

Acid seems more recreational in the way that it's speedy, but less earth shattering. Acid can feel spiritual but for me it was mostly mathematical, things had there place and tended to add up to make sense.

Mushrooms to me seem otherworldly and introverted. When mushrooms start kicking in, they feel sorta like motion sickness, or like you're on a boat. On the way up Mushrooms feel like there is a "body load", as if you mind is trying to process a lot. That seems to go away after ego loss when my soul feels like it unites with the world and I'm reborn. I feel like I'm constantly waking up on mushrooms. I yawn all the time. The color that always stuck out most to me on shrooms was green.

Acid and Shrooms are much different visually. On mushrooms, tree limbs tend to bend constantly in motion. Mountains pulsed outward and bubbled. Acid tended to be all about color for me, oranges and yellows.

Acid is like that Beach Boys song, Good Vibrations.

Mushrooms are like that Jefferson Airplane song, White Rabbit.

If I had to pick which one I liked more Acid or Mushrooms, I would say mushrooms. Tripping for 12 hours is too longgg. Jesus, one time took acid at like 11am and i was still seeing rainbows late that evening.

Acid vs shrooms to me, is like a good comedy show versus teletubbies. Acid is all about that complex, deep-thought laugh while shrooms are all about "haha your dog looks juicy today".

Acid is also very much more geometric, all of the patterns truly are patterns, like lattices and checkerboards and shit like that. Shrooms make colors more vibrant but there's less of the patterns and more of the weird warping/melting stuff going on.

To me, shrooms are what acid would be like if I was eight again and really stoned (i don't think i got high that young but you get the idea). Acid is very straightforward and clear-headed, more clear than being sober imo, and the thing that makes cid so enjoyable is the strange insight you get into the world. Shrooms are very fuzzy-headed and confusing, and they mostly give you insight into your self and your past, present, and sometimes situations. :shrug: just my opinion.

I prefer LSD to Shrooms. But, not really.

I think LSD provides a more clear, persistent and precise trip, while mushrooms tend to throw me into outerspace and let me float there for a while until finally coming back to reality.

When I was younger and first started dabbling with psychedelics I preferred LSD much more..
As I got older, I guess you can,  my mind set changed. I prefer mushrooms now. Mushrooms have more of a DMT experience. I take acid when I goto festivals/concerts. I take mushrooms when I’m going to the forest or the beach. The connection with Mother Earth seems more intimate on psilocybin.

But everyone has their preference

Visually; mushies seem to provide a natural, earth toned texture.
LSD brings on a more astral, cool-end spectrum vibrancy of all colours.

Psilocybe booms effects [in higher doses] psychologically are more focused and overwhelming.
LSD's effects [in higher doses] psychologically are more sporadic and overwhelming.
Both; separate or together; give a mind boggling, state of awe.

Mushies effects [in lower doses] have a bit of an eccentric, sedative body high.
While lSD [in lower doses] distributes a surge of focused energy.
Both, separate or together; supplies a magnification of perception.

Never tried acid. I wouldn't want to take it by itself. If I take it, I'm going to take it with 3 to 5 grams dry cubensis and maybe some gyms. Or 30 to 50 grams fresh cubensis blended in a blender, and some gyms to spice it up.
