I think mushrooms are popular but there is no supply. And people are starting to rap about mushrooms. Eminem has a song about mushrooms and so does X-zibit (sp). If there were enough good fields or if people knew what to look for the supply would quickly be met. Luckily people are fools and will not look up the right kind on the infonet or in books. I have yet to see a psilocybe in a field. One time after a rain I went to a huge pile of shit (from a stable) and looked and looked. Only wierd inky caps and then bam. These white mushrooms with a reddish brown dot were growing in the cracks of the composted horse shit. I got a huge paper ba full but the gills were yellow and they did not stain blue; but these fooled me and would have easily and propably killed someone not as informed as I.

I have never heard or read about "the great acid boom of the 90's."

Now that these rappers are rapping about mushrooms people are talking alot about them but seldom have seen or done them.

There seemed to be more LSD available in the late 80's through the 90's and it continues...I don't remember ever coming across gel tabs until the early 90's.....

Both are psychedelic drugs and have the potential to produce negative experiences. The one benefit of shrooms is that they don't last as long. IMO, LSD has a far more comfortable body buzz.
