Digestive system problems from beginning to end
    #10486489 -

I recently was following a diet which consisted of whatever got me through the week, very unhealthy fast foods almost all the time. I think it has finally caught up with me. However, I have recently started working out every day and eating much better.

I'm still being plagued though :crankey: It starts with the esophagus. I get heartburn frequently. In the stomach, I still get nausea very frequently and things just don't feel right. I have also recently gotten hemorrhoids and it burns and itches so bad that I had to stop doing squats while working out today, granted I'm sure working out my legs isn't helping the hemorrhoids.

I'm a digestive system mess for the moment. Has anyone else been in the same situation? Is there anything I can do besides adding fiber to my diet and eating healthier?

I'm sure you may know this, but the hemorrhoids are most likely from the squats. Increased intra-abdominal pressure from the squatting forces blood that is normally traveling up a pair of veins in your spine back to your to go down through the interconnected veins and bulge all the blood into the veins around your rectum. Reduce the squat weight and pressure in your stomach and you may have some relief. Otherwise you'll need to have them rubber banded by a doctor. If they burn and itch then they're external hemorrhoids (you'll want medication when they do those), if it doesn't burn and itch it's internal hemorrhoids you don't need pain meds for that. You may notice blood in your stool in the future if you strain too hard to shit. That is from a bleeding hemorrhoid.

The esophageal problems could have many causes. Nicotine, tobacco, fatty foods and other things decrease the strength of this muscle that keeps the food in your stomach and not backing up into your esophagus. If you find it worse while laying down, that could be a reason. You may also have an H. Pylori infection which can lead to ulcers, that's normally how people find they have the common ulcer bug is when they get an ulcer. but it can common come in the form of acid reflux. There also could be may other causes that would be investigated if the more obvious reasons and simple explanations turn out to be wrong. It could be the hemorrhoids and the esophagus problems are related (other than through your diet and weight training), or maybe not. But most likely it's something simple.Generally one expects themselves to be part of the majority of the population.

You should see your doctor about the gastric reflux and the hemorrhoids, these things are not immediately fatal, but there's no reason why you should live miserably.
