how long can mushrooms last in juice ? does the type of juice and temp affect how long they last? i read in another thread, to throw them in organic grape juice... does it really matter?

Assuming the juice doesn't have any preservatives, i think it will last for just a few days. If you put shrooms into juice you're rehydrating them which facilitates rotting. If they are in a cold environment, i.e. the fridge, the shroomy juice may last more.

Besides that, those organic type juices state on the label that you shouldn't drink them 3 days after opening the bottle they're in.

Drying shrooms and putting them in a airtight container or blue honey are way more efective than that method for medium/long-term storage IMHO. I use the first one.
