Preserving "fresh" Shrooms? Blended?

Well i tripped last night and i thought i would need alot but 2 caps sent me into space.. anyways.. i have had them for 3 days now.. and the ziplock is filled with dark blue/purple liquid and seems like the shrooms might be breaking down? How long will these last in the frig? Also.. what i did was blended them all up into a super fine pulp. (i did this with Sunny D + shrooms lastnight and drank it and whoa..) anyways i was thinking i could just blend this to liquid and put them in a bottle so it is air tight... how long would they last? what if i blended them to liquid and kept them in the freezer? How long will they stay potent? How can i tell if it is going bad? Last night was my first time doing them and ive read up but i cant find anything that answers my questions.

My idea.. (Quick Review)

Blend to Liquid then keep in Frig(hopefully) Freezer if i must.
When i wanna trip just poor some in a cup add Sunny D and Trip.
(Sunny D + Shrooms = Taste GOOD :smile: )

1) Is this a good idea?
2) How long will it last?
3) How can i tell when gone bad?
4) How long till less potent?
5) Is vitiman C an enhancer like it is on LSD?
6) Being liquified, will they last longer?

You had fresh shrooms in a ziplock for a few days? They're most likely already bad by now. And that juice.. not sure but I wouldn't trust it more than a couple days.. even then I'm not so sure. I know people have spoken about mescaline "tea" being in the fridge for more than a few days fermenting and all.

Trust it? like could i get sick/die? I was thinking about this weekend doing them.. i heard fresh shrooms stay ok for 3-15 days.. but was wondering if blended if theyd last longer. Is it going to be to strong if they are fermenting? or dead? :/ in any sort.. would it hurt me for trying them friday? i got them this past friday.

whats the best way for keeping the shrooms then for next batch? and whats the longest i can keep them? doesnt make sense to have alot of shrooms and only get 1 use out of them because they go bad quick :/

May i ask why? Im new to all this and i couldnt find really anyhing about proper preservation. Or how to tell if bad and stuff..

because they go off, put them in a paper bag then they will keep for a week in the fridge, even better fan dry then for 24 hours. then store in a dry place, cut big obes in half lenghtwise, for easier drying.

if these werent shrooms but normal mushrooms would you eat them, if yes then ok if no then they are off.

theres a whole section on prservation on the main toolbar of the page
top left in mushroom info

you didnt look too hard. theres very little thats not covered here.

And i know about that but i was looking to see if blending them up and putting them in a bottle was or has bever been done and the success of it.. which is what i could not find and is what most of the questions were based towards. Just figured blended shrooms would stay fresh for longer less surface area for the contams to grow. -shrug

somewhere within the last 2 weeks someone posted how to preserve fresh shrooms in vinegar. I think it was in the pub
