There is no need for a universal image, but there certainly is a need for a reduction of the ego. People would be better off if they could see outside of their own heads. Where is the empathy? Why are people out killing, raping and hurting others? Do they not feel the hurt of others or are they blind to it?

I saw many people use drugs and be complete assholes, while I saw straight edgers like priests sacrifice for the sake of the community.

In my opinion, drug use does not make any miracles.

Many kids that I know have turned straight edge go to shows with intent of hurting others. There is no rule.
