I don't think so at all.  Most people confuse the hardcore Jesus freak Southern Baptist fire and fucking brimstone Christians with people like me.  I consider myself Judeao-Christian.  I have a Jewish background, but through some trials and tribulations of my own have become a big fan of Jesus.  That DOES NOT mean I think people who don't "believe in" Jesus are going to hell.  The man lived his life piously, lived for God and other people, and TRIED to teach us to love one another and have respect for each other and the planet.  Unfortunately now, and over the course of the last 2000 years, a lot of human beings have gotten away from the point of the teachings of Jesus.

Like I said, most of us get a bad wrap.  Believe it or not, there are intelligent, compassionate and understanding Christians out there who aren't hardcore right wing radical nut jobs.  I'm pretty damned sure my many friends from MANY other religious denominations aren't going to hell.  I go could go on, but I think I've got the point across.

Many would insist that Jesus' death on the cross was an act of salvation for everyone, not just believers.

Yes. He would, if he died.

The wages of sin are DEATH. And as far as I know, everyone dies. Therefore, they sin. And if you sin without accepting Jesus Christ as your lord and savior, you will go to hell.

(btw, im an athiest because the simpke idea of any religion makes me laugh my ass off. i do however, have an aunt who is one of those "accept christ of burn forever in the fiery pits of hell" christians, whom ive asked a question similar to this one)

When I find myself in times of trouble, mother Mary comes to me,
speaking words of wisdom, let it be.
And in my hour of darkness she is standing right in front of me,
speaking words of wisdom, let it be.
Let it be, let it be, let it be, let it be.
Whisper words of wisdom, let it be.
And when the broken hearted people living in the world agree,
there will be an answer, let it be.
For though they may be parted there is still a chance that they will see, there will be an answer. let it be.
Let it be, let it be, .....

Everyone is starting to wise up to the whole "burn forever" concpet. Im pretty sure the catholic church is actually trying to change the definition to "Absence of god" or something.

HOWEVER lets say this one guy was mentioned Jesus name. Someone while feeding him simply said "Accept Jesus as your lord and savior" and left him alone. Then what

HAHAHA God to decide? wtf is wrong with you?

This man would die and that's the end of it. He wouldn't go to heaven or hell cause there's no such thing. No such thing as God.

Wake the fuck up already;

Know what:? Fuck Jesus, Fuck God they can rot in " Hell " for all I care.

According to what i know of Christianity every person is born with "original-sin"; and to get rid of that you have to accept Jesus.
So yeah, no matter how good and selfless of a person you are; if you do not accept Jesus Christ as your lord and savior you've earned a 1-way ticket to hell.

Though what i know comes from the year or so in Jr. High when i was actually attending church. And reading the bible and whatnot.

Basically what i gleaned from that is this:
God is a selfish jealous bastard, and you better just accept that. He can do whatever he wants, plagues, natural disasters and other apocalyptic crap and thats fine, because he made everything. But if you disagree with his "will" that makes you a sinner meaning you will forever burn in hell.
That's like your parents telling you time and time again "Do i say, not as i do.". That statement never impressed me.

Ahhh yes, demeaning others for their beliefs is always the best way to achieve mutual understanding.

That type of attitude is the exact same as all extreme religious fanatics, and really just shows your ignorance.  It perpetuates hate and intolerance.  I feel very sorry for you.
