Please recall that the founders of modern science were all creationist, such as Newton, Kepler, Pascal, Boyle, Galileo and many others.

Their understanding that their is a logical, Divine creator  gave them the foundation to look for the natural laws of His creation, and to try to think his thought after him. We do the same today as we recognize that we live in a logically designed universe.
The idea that what we see around us happened to exploded itself (big bang) via random chance?

Creationism, standing with science, would contend that the evidence strongly suggests otherwise.

Genetic traits are subject to natural selection. If there is a mechanism that selects certain traits to be more advantageous to survival, "evolution(microevolution)" can occur rapidly. This can be an "artificial" mechanism such such as allopatric speciation. In this case species are separated geographically such that over time the organism which contain the quickist reproduction will win out even if their physiological traits are not superior in an absolute sense.

One area that i consider awesome concerning something similar is with cuddlefish. Their reproduction is the result of complex mating rituals where females choose their host based on colorful displays by males. Their are males which are basically "shemales" who mimic female traits and take advantage of mating to pass on their genetic material. It is not nessecisaryly good but it is how it works.

WARNING: I'm drunk and I don't quite remember this example so look up cuddle fish on your own, they are awesome. They have a higher brain mass to body mass ratio than humans. Really fascinating stuff.


micro-evolution.. so your saying small things.. or traits evolve faster than phsyical evolution. i believe it.  did everybody forget about our technology?? how much effort and brain power/smarts it takes to make all this shit? its that a form of evolution?? our brains our evolving to higher standards to produce this shit with better quality.  doesnt making technological advancments have to do with our brains? their fore, it is a way of evolution.. what else would it be..

thats OK laugh all you want but your ignorant, I bet none of you atheist have even studied the bible or how science backs it up, theres a show on history channel as well, it mentions how the bible is the ultimate compliment to science, maybe learn a little bit more before you reply.

Creationist stand on the side of testable-repeatable science, evolutionist quietly disregard science when convenient.

Rocks do not come with dates stamped on them, nor has anyone witnessed  them aging over (the believed) millions of years.

Radiometric dating is one-third fact two-thirds assumption, and it is unreproducible.

Lava flows occurring in recorded historic times have dated radiometrically at millions of years old.

The fossil record is the creationist best friend, it still shows a distinct lack of transitional forms. Sure, every generation of evolutionist have a few new ones, but none of them have stood the test of time so far.

Lately they're trying really hard to claim that dinosaurs grew feathers to validate temporary evolutionary theory.

This will fall flat too...wait and see.

Humans alive today vary in cranial capacity from about 700cc to 2200cc, with no relation of brain size to intelligence.

When evolutionist line up old skulls from smaller to larger they make false assumptions linking brain size to intelligence-neglecting reason!!!

What happens to the bones of a person who does not get enough calcium in their diet? Or if they were lacking copper, for example, it would detrimentally affect brain development. If, in past times, many people only ate local foods and the local soil in different places had a lack of selenium, or magnesium, or iron, or any number of other trace minerals...then this would affect each person and animal in the respective area over generations, correct?

When we come along now and look at the hominid fossils left behind lets consider all of the logical scientific possibilities (including potentially inbred defects), and not just use a selected dishonest evolutionary sampling of the literally thousands of found hominid remains (hiding or ignoring the vast majority of them) in order to try to publicize and endow temporary evolutionary theory with credibility- in other words, they are proclaiming evolution at all costs in spite of the fossil evidence. There will be a high cost to us if we let them continue to deceive with false doctored evidence.

The fossil record shows that each kind has always varied within each kind, which is evidence of tremendously wise design.

What does evolution do? It fills a need for our origins. It is not testable-repeatable...and when creationist show that evolutionist stands against scientific evidence the evolutionist get angry. Angry? Why? I thought this was science....the free exchange of ideas and evidence and all.

We are threatening their religion.

Funny that you mention brain size having a factor on intelligence when it obviously doesn't when ignorance undoes any sort of intelligence in most people. Opinions hinder critical logic, but it doesn't seem to bother anyone except for a few of us.

I don't have a problem with everyone going through life with a sense of false security, but if it forces its way into my life I'll for sure have something to say about it.

I'm not an atheist and didn't claim to be one.  I've read the King James's Bible cover to cover.  Twice.  It's a large part of the reason I'm not a Christian.

There is no such thing as an "evolutionist."  The people you refer to are properly coined Evolutionary Scientists, Evolutionary Geneticists, etc. 

People who comprehend evolution get angry when presented with these silly arguments because it really is a simple concept, and it is absolutely maddening the vast numbers of people who do not understand the process and denounce it as a failed ideology.

When you understand evolution you understand that not only is it correct, it is the only possible explanation that ties together what we have observed.

I am neither an atheist nor a creationist, and I have studied both the Bible and science.  Your claims are bullshit.  If dinosaurs and humans coexisted, we should expect their bones to be found in the same geological layers.  Evolution has observed.  It's why we have to keep updating our antibiotics, since the bacteria evolve to become resistant to existing antibiotics.  The genetic evidence shows that all life on earth is biologically related, with a common origin.  Your claims about radiocarbon dating are suspect at best(I would like to see your sources).

So tell me:  Why do we not see rabbits in the carboniferous layer?  Why do we show such profound genetic similarity to apes?  Why do keep having to fight new species of bacteria, rather than dealing with the same bacteria our Stone Age ancestors were susceptible to?

How old do you think the world is? like 10,00 years old?  :rofl2: Dinosaurs are genetically related to common birds yes, Humans are 99% genetically related to chimps, carbon-dating is reliable, cavemen existed, the world used to be one super-continent, the bible is BOGUS....put it down for a minute and read some scientific literature.

The interpretation of the bible is bogus, the bible itself is pretty open-ended. Science is science, the study of physical matter. Whoever mixes them together is a fool.

And ALL mammals are 97% genetically related anyways. So that's a very shaky consideration for saying evolution proves God absolutely 100% wrong.

To find anything that's less than 90% similar to us, we'd have to look at things like sea sponges.  Nevertheless, there is a genetic gradient among mammals between those who are more less related to us.  Sometimes the differences are measured in fractions of a percent, but they are there nonetheless.  I agree it doesn't prove God wrong(I believe in theistic evolution myself), but it is strong evidence for evolution.

I would hope that writers had enough sense to not make up bogus dates and put in common knowledge occurrences.

Dates, wars, cities.  They are for the most part accurate and have been recorded by many others int hat time.

But don't you find it weird that NO ONE else besides the gospel writers wrote down miracles about turning fucking water into wine.  Producing an infinite amount of number of fish and bread for thousands of people.

Just because some of the facts are historically correct doesn't the other bullshit thrown in is true too.
