is it just me or does this man say a lot without every really saying a damn thing  :confused:

cause it sounds to me like he's trying real hard to make himself seem really smart and very well edumacated...and yet...ever single 'point' he ever makes - boils down to little more then random name-calling:

"why would anybody ever want to believe something so ridiculous?"

science does not stand alone.  It has it's rigors, which are over the head of many zealots, and therefore they choose to scorn what they do not understand.

But when combined with it's cousins, logic and reason, an analysis of scientific results can reveal much more.  It is not truth and it is not knowledge.  People seek these things, but there are sparse in science and non-existent in religion.

The combination of science and it's vigilant analysis is the best answer, it is the only real answer.

Atheism is not the denial of god, its a lack of belief in YOUR god. Someone is only atheist from the perspective of one who is theist.

Do you realize how stupid that video is? He can't prove that we CAN'T test outside the universe, we've never been ABLE to leave. What do you mean we can't see that shit? Of course we can't, that's so fucking far your balls will drop off, even with the most high-tech telescope they can only see so far as of now. You don't get to look "downward" on the universe, unless your some rediciulously large 1000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 ft person who can breathe in space and do "tests". This still doesn't prove there is a god, that's just him flinging words convincing no one that the world is controlled by god.

He brings up a point, and that point is that our UNIVERSAL laws, may be DIFFERENT in another universe because of varying Gravity, which changes physics and how things work dramatically. Life could be stronger due to a larger force, or weaker with a smaller one. Most things won't change because you go into a different universe, and we can't even find life on another plant yet, I don't think we need to worry about other UNIVERSES..
