If you ran an anti-weed campaign............

How would you make weed look bad?

I smoke almost every day and love weed so don't get the wrong idea, but let's just say you were getting an offer you can't refuse to come up with advertisements against weed, how would you go about it?

I think the governments anti weed tactics are terrible because it's run on lies and propaganda but there are some ways to make fun of stoners effectively.

If I ran an anti weed campaign I think I would make fun of the cliche stoners.  Stuff like jam bands, being socially incapable, living in your room.   


~I am not anti weed at all but I have known some stoners that fit the cliche's. 


~~~~Maybe this topic is stupid but I am curious if anyone has any good ideas.    The government's anti weed commercials are way too ridiculous and I feel that if they were smart they would be a bit more realistic as opposed to they're "weed kills" ideology or weed makes you so stupid that you'll run behind a horse and get kicked in yourself.

********Weed should be 100% legal though and the anti weed campaigns are a fucking waste of taxpayers money and have no effect on peoples choices

why would you go against something that you cared about getting legalized?? 

no amount of money could ever make me do that, sorry.

if you think anti drug campaigns have no effect then why is there still a war on drugs based on the bullshit propaganda fed to people from the time marijuana was made illegal til now.

Bring up the correlation between weed and psychosis.

And emphasize the short-term impairments to memory and cognition.

A healthy state of mind is cultivated...  It takes work.  Smoking the herb does make that cultivation harder, but I wouldn't go so far as saying, "If you smoke pot, you'll become psychotic."

South Park did a pretty good job in one of its episodes.

They said that weed makes it OK to be bored, when you could be doing something constructive.

I think this is true, and I know people vehemently deny being lazy on pot, but for me I'll get stoned and just zone out in front of the TV or computer when I should be bored and forced to find something good to do with my time.

So in a word, underacheivement.

Of course I'd leave out all the glorious benefits which far outweigh any negatives.

It's easy. I would just say that weed makes people depressed, angst ridden, and anxious. And then I would show many examples from this site.

All I would have to do is ignore that whole logic thing.

I would make it as ridiculous as possible. That way itl still be entertaining.

ex: Some kids are on a playground during a super sunny/happy day. One of them getts offered a puff of weed, he takes it.. his face starts melting off while he screams in horror to sum scary music.

I would never go against weed. this thread is hypothetical. I am interested to hear everyone's ideas though.

I think so far the best answers are depressed, anxious, ok to be bored,  and short term memory.

I am 100% pro weed. I've been obsessed with it ever since I smoked it many years ago and I think there are many positives to ganja as well.
