A Wonderful Music Recommendation

The first time I tripped, I was in my friend's room which is covered in crazy tapestries and listening to DJ Shadow the entire time. I cannot stress how amazing that music made my experience. I would definetly reccomend The Private Press or any of his earlier CDs for an amazing time.

private press is great, as is endtroducing..
ever notice on private press that some of the tracks slowly speed up? specifically, "What you gonna do now?" and "Right Thing". freaky...

DJ Shadow kicks absolute ass. You would maybe like DJ Spooky or DJ Food as well...The Private Press is a very well made album, especially for getting bombed to. :smirk:

Out of all DJs around for tripping I most definetly believe that Mr. DJ George Acosta is without a doubt the best. He is Hardcore.
If you like to "scare" yourself while trippin or even just think alot more then usual try listening to Rasputina. They rule. I am seeing them this Saturday, probably on shrooms.

DJ Shadow is fucking incredible whether your tripping or not. I don't know about giving credit to George Acosta though, he's a DJ, he doesn't write his own music he just plays it. If you really want to hear some fucking crazy ass shit listen to Aphex Twin. You might have seen the "Come to Daddy" video on MTV or something. That song would be the exception, I doubt that would be good, it's too crazy and abrasive, and the only song like it by Aphex. But Aphex Twin's songs are always very strangely beatiful and ambient in a way. Check it out.
