Surrender to reality

For a long time I have felt pain from arguing with myself, about what I really want and need.
If I couldn't have something, I made myself believe that I didn't want it.
What it turned into was a need for perfection. Total assumed purity.

I can't stress enough how important it is to your happiness that you let go of any grudges you've made with the world.
If something negative happened to you in your past, you should accept the unrealistic bias you may have formed.
This bias does not protect you, or help you in any way. It only fuels an unhappy ego.
Do not be afraid to go back to ground zero, where the fear originated. Remember the world is only what you make of it, and how you percieve it. Don't hold grudges against illusions.. things that dont really exist.

Be honest with yourself and what you want in life... and look carefully and indiscriminantly at how your decisions affect others.
forget those frightful images of people that you're afraid youll turn into. its totally unnecessary.
think for yourself, question authority, and follow your heart.

Well said. I completely agree, and have taken basically the same thoughts out of "The Grudge" by tool.
