State officials search ACORN office in voter registration fraud probe


Agents with the state attorney general's and secretary of state's offices served a search warrant this morning on the new ACORN headquarters. The Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now office is located at 953 E. Sahara Ave.

The warrant was part of an ongoing investigation into suspected voter registration fraud. Employees are suspected of using false addresses or false names, including those of former Dallas Cowboys, according to the secretary of state's office.

ACORN Vegas Office Raided in Voter Fraud Investigation


ACORN's Las Vegas headquarters has been raided by Nevada authorities looking for evidence of voter fraud.

LAS VEGAS -- Nevada state authorities are raiding the Las Vegas headquarters of an organization that works to get low-income people to vote.

A Nevada secretary of state's office spokesman said Tuesday that investigators are looking for evidence of voter fraud at the office of the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now, also called ACORN.

No one was at the ACORN office when state agents arrived with a search warrant and began carting records and documents away.

Secretary of State spokesman Bob Walsh says ACORN is accused of submitting multiple voter registrations with false and duplicate names.

The raid comes two months after state and federal authorities formed a task force to pursue election-fraud allegations in Nevada.

Doesn't John McCain have strong ties to ACORN?  Didn't they work together quite a bit when he was a community organizer?

Oh wait!  That was Barry (Obama) that has strong ties to ACORN and their various voter fraud scandals.  Silly me.

The first one that I am aware of happened in 1998... this would be the same time period that Obama was involved with them, but it was a different state.  The amount of voter fraud that ACORN members have been accused and convicted of over the years leaves little to the imagination that the organization as a whole is corrupt.  I'm not claiming that Obama did anything illegal while working with ACORN, but it goes once again to show his lack of judgment with respect to the type of people he surrounds himself with.
