the only drugs she does is smoke and pop pain pills she dosnt even snort its just that she does them constanly, but no no harder drugs than that, but i understand where your coming from

Yeah well pain pills can make you sick if you aren't supposed to take them. Green for the most part can ease a upset stomache but its like how it can calm stress and make you paranoid.

EDIT: She is like me she takes pain pills all the fucking time for like the last 3 to 4 years. Sure shes not supposed to take them but no, that is def not whats making her sick. Trust me, once you take something so long you no longer get sick off of it, this applies to any narcotic...

Im just saying if she doesnt get them from a doctor... maybe she hasn't been taking what she thinks she has....

sadly, if she is as hardcore of a druggie that you say she is, and she is already a month or more along, then she has probably been using drugs during this time.  The first trimester is very important, and if she was using drugs constantly during that time, there is a high chance the child coudl have problems.  I'm not saying abortion is right either, but if she was shooting heroin and smoking meth and crack while wasted, fucking 6 other dudes without protection catching the herpes and syphlis, it will not be good for any baby to be born with a start like that...

Absolutely. Development of the neural tube can be detrimented, abnormal or maldevelopment of the heart can occur, craniofacial ossification and other bone defects can become prevalent. Pregnancy and drugs of any sort, definately do not mix. I am not trying to preach or anything, but as a nurse I feel obligated to inform.

oh i understand and appreciate it. i was just saying that she has been taking pain pills fro quite some time, she knows what she is taking and also knows how her body reacts to them, whether she taken too many, dosnt have any and is w'ding ect.

As said earlier it might be good to strongly consider adoption.  This is a great way to insure that your child will be raised by family that is eager and prepared to do so.  Don't assume that its an all or nothing situation.  You do not need to raise the child, I would not encourage it if you do not feel like there is a cohesive nature between you and her.  Its evident you don't feel you can trust her and you don't believe her to be capable of raising the child in a good healthy way.  Adoption is a great alternative to the situation, and I believe there are agencies that can tailor to your interests concerning how you would like the child to be raised.  There might (but I have my doubts) be agencies you can work with that will allow you to remain in your child's life. 

As a person who has been adopted...I would say that it would be important for the adopters to make the child aware of how they have come to be a part of the family, but it should only be presented as fact.  I wish I knew my birth parents, simply so I could thank them and tell them they made a good decision.

Overall, best of luck with the situation and please for the sake of life...be smart and fair.

I don't know, I am not too familiar with the law I admit. But the third semester seems pretty high, that is the 9th month.
