seems like my friend might be pregnant

so, i stopped over by my gf's house where a friend of mine lives, with her boy friend (although they would never admit that they are a couple even after years together... anyways)
so, i happened to see her lying in bed, and asked one of the other roomates about why, she said that she was up puking all morning....
this is a girl who drinks till the sun comes up and never pukes... and to top it all off she didnt drink the night before, and we all eat the same food, so it's highly unlikely it would be food poisoning with just one of us sick...
here is the kicker though. she refuses to take any kind of birth control or even precaution about pregnancy or sex. she actually has told me that she believes that she can not get pregnant. she also told me that she was 100% sure that if sperm even touched air, even for a minute that it was rendered un-able to impregnate her.... during that particular convo, i brought up how people go to sperm banks and freeze their sperm, etc... but she just would not listen....
so, with all of these factors in place, im willing to bet that she is pregnant.....
it angers me, how could she be so irresponsible, she's just going to go and have an abortion..... and in my opinion, that is not right. i understand that people do get pregnant and have abortions for their own reasons.... but to blatantly ignore the odds of getting pregnant, for going on several years now, and then to create a life only to take it away, is wrong.....

Having a kid because you're a dumb fuck and thought it wasn't possibly isn't a choice; it's an accident and a burden on society.

You fucking hippie!
Abortion is bad! It's just an abortion, it's an unborn baby, who the fuck cares? Who wants a baby of a drunk whore anyways? It's better off aborted and dead.

Sadly, this sounds like a person who wouldn't change their mind in any case. Very stubborn and narrow-minded. So, there isn't much you can do to stop it. She should really at least check to see if she is pregnant, its not like its a costly to get a test. Personally, I think she should have the choice to have an abortion. She might be creating a life, but how will it be raised? would that life that is created be better off getting (dare i say) "murdered" early or better off being raised in a potentially bad home, bad parenting, and lead to die slowly like the rest of us?

Yeah that's how I feel about it too. She could have done way more to prevent this from even happening. Maybe now she'll consider birth control?

I had a friend who claimed that she read a study that pulling out was 98-99% effective, and we got into a huge argument over it... She told me that she and her boyfriend had been doing it for months with no problems. 3 or 4 months down the road I heard she was pregnant. They got married shortly afterwards, even though they had been together for less than a year.
Edit- Capitalistic Nomad, don't worry, I see your point and I agree with you.

yeah i argue with people about pulling out all the time. not 100% effective what so ever....
and she just might be sick.
but still.....
i whole heartedly support the right to choose.
but i don't like people that run themselves into making that choice after a repeatedly making un-intelligent and otherwise ignorant actions.
