im plannin on driking and then tripping? good idea?

Depends on the individual, set & setting and all that jazz. In general, extreme mixing of any mind altering substances isn't a grand idea. If you give it a go, take it easy; have some booze, get yer buzz on, dose yer fungus, stop drinking til you get a feel for the trip, then hit the booze again if you think that's a good idea.

In my experiance alcohol before the trip is nothing but nausea,
try it after the peak, makes for a nice feeling

i say drink when your comin down makes for a nice shroomy kinda drunkness anything before is askin for stoumac trouble definatly drink after

A friend of mine once decided to eat mushrooms after coming home drunk. He said it didn't turn out well at all; all he could do was lie on his bed without having any of the interesting things that a mushroom trip has to offer.

I've never tried drinking while tripping, but many of my friends drink before, during and after, and love it. The main reason I don't is because I hate pissing every ten seconds.

I would do it the other way around if I were you. Drinking before a trip (particularly mushrooms) can lead to some pretty severe vomiting. Dosing first then drinking later is much cooler. Each shot gives your trip a little boost.

Some whiskey and a few Ginger caps actually make the dose absorb quicker and with less nausea since it gets digested quick. But the drawback is the trip has less CEV's of 3 dimensional or vision seeing nature. This buzz is a more Ecstasy type with way less anxiety.

Everyone is different but a shot every now and then chased down with a few gulps of beer, no more than a 1/2 pint of whiskey though. Start before you dose then take a few while dosing then stop. The only thing that may make a big difference is that we used shroom capsules, so maybe not good if actually eating them.
