Drinking on shrooms?

Hey, i have a question... obviously... anyway if someone was drinking a 40 while eating shrooms would it effect them differently? thank you

It doesn't seem to do much, except take a bit of the edge off the shrooms.

Enless you're drunk, then it can weaken them. Also it can make you feel sicker...

I wouldn't reccomend it because I once washed some shrooms down with a couple shots of vodka and it made me black out just while walking a few hours later which has never ever happened on shrooms alone. The same thing also happened on different occasion to one of my friends who washed some fresh shrooms down with a beer. He passed out and got rug burn on his face from the carpet. That just my experience but I wouldn't do it because it certainly doesn't make the experience stonger or better.

For me, alcohol and shrooms do not mix AT ALL.. then again..I'm not much of a drinker. But my shrooming friends say similar things.

Don't drink wish shrooms. In fact, don't drink with any kind of mushrooms other than the very common store varieties. The alcohol can, in a lot of species, cause Bad Things to happen. In fact, the only known (that I know of) death on standard psilobycin-containing shrooms of an adult said the guy mixed shrooms and alcohol.

Well.. my friend blacked out and hit his head after we had mushrooms and alchol. I had 5 gramms and didnt feel it much. Dont mix them together..

Yeah I would be interrested to hear how the two interract. I know that when drinking after doing coke, the two can mix in your stomache and create a different chemical. I wonder if the same thing happens on shrooms. I know for sure that after my one experience, I will never try the two together again.

^^^^^^^This is probably the only bit of info in this thread that means anything to you.


Everything else are opinions based on chance occurrences. This thread is so chalked full of BS IMO.

Most people say that when they take shrooms after drinking or being drunk they do not feel the effects of the alcohol anymore. The trip kills their drunkenness.

Personally, I like to have a couple beers only to kill any anxiety I may have during the come up. The beer helps take the edge off just like in any other situation.

Just a thought: If you are tripping after being drunk you may not be able to have the same complex thoughts that a sober mind could have.

let me explain it a little better...

tripping on hangover is not good...
drinking alot during and after is not good either...

of course I'm not referring to a couple of beers...

I wouldn't suggest it. Last summer I ate mushrooms and had one beer right after i was done eating them. I had no problems such as passing out. But I am very surprised I actually didn't puke. Me and my friend both were so sick, It ruined the trip. We both wanted to go somewhere that just didn't exist, going home wouldn't do it, too warm, could puke inside. Outside was too cold and hard to walk around. Although, on the other had it did make the trip different, in a sort of eerie way, but good eerie. I felt like going back in time to a 70's rock concert. Although that just didn't make up for how awful we felt. I will never do it again

I was impressed to learn there was another way to look... UP!
More impressive still was the fact that there were beautiful stars in this direction
Most amazing fact of all was the prospect of another direction when I was done with up. DOWN! Which, based on the feel through my toes would be a fine sandy beach!

hi, new guy here, anyways..... a foaf with a large anxiety problem ate some shrooms for the first time and found that the 3 or 4 beers he had helped him stay calm, there werent many visuals though, but this may have been because of the shrooms and their quality

in the right amount it can have its benefits...i ate approx. 1.5 g's before a party and drank about nine beers and had a fantastic time. the combination was occasionaly unsettling in the stomach, but nothing that wasn't tolerable.
