Shrooms + Alcohol?

Well I'm going to this party on friday and there is definately going to be alcohol there and i'm definately going to do some shrooms. What's it like when you're on both of them? Is it dangerous? Any info would help.

You really don't have to worry about it too much. Usually when i drink on trips the alcohol takes a while to have any effect on me, e.g. i can drink like a fish! So on occasions i have drank way too much the next morning was NO fun at all. But i definitly enjoy having drinks while tripping, beer is the best.

Just don't over do it.

Beer while on shrooms makes me feel sick (even throw-up violently in the morning).
Everyone's different though, and you'll never know your tolerances unless you try.

You can drink some alcohol, but I wouldn't get drunk. You won't even notice the effect of the alcohol. Just don't drink too much because you don't know how your body takes it. have fun

Combining alcohol with mushrooms takes the edge off the trip and makes me feel goofy and stuff.

For me alcohol seems to shorten the trip considerably.

alcohol seems to prevent me from triping too hard really mellows it for me almost too much. I wouldnt suggest consuming with alchol for full effects.

i drink a ton when tripping and when the trip starts to wear off the alchohal hits me hard its good fun, cuase otherwise i get depressed cuase i am comign down.

so basically if you in an envirmonet which isn't ideal for a full blown trip ie a party, then drinking will take the edge off, thus reducing the chance of a bad trip. Is that what is being said, basically?

If you drink while coming down, it helps. If you drink before coming up, it takes longer and the visuals can be more tracer like. If you take a lot of shrooms, then alcohol will have no effect of you. I had the worst trip of my life after drinking and then ingesting shrooms, I just sweated out the alcohol and smelled like a drunk as well as wanting to smash everything in my house and put a knife through my eye to stop the pain and insanity. I guess I just got the drunken violence part of alcohol, like drinking tequila. Anyway, one time I got pretty drunk, smoked some hash and then did shrooms and I had some the most most amazing patterns and colors I have ever scene, but it only lasted like an hour or two and felt like it lasted a half hour. Take a low dose if you go to a party, shrooms are not a party drug, acid is more for that.
