Can drinking THIS cranberry juice hurt me?

I have some PF cakes(they have pieces of verm in them plus a little perlite here and there) crumbled up in some cranberry juice.

Will it hurt me to drink this even if I strain it through a t-shirt?? I hope not. I really wanted to try this.

As long as you filter out the Verm. and Pearlite, I can't see any harm in it. If there are no contams on your cakes, it won't hurt you. You just don't want to drink down any Pearl or Verm., 'cause all those sharp edges could really tear up your digestive tract.

even if you eat some of d verm it's all good - i've heard peeps eatin the cakes raw - no cranberry juice method. but anyways, i agree with the above post - you be fine.

Well I drank it. I'm your guinea pig.

3 spent cakes crumbled up into cranberry/apple juice

strained it through a shirt

I tripped BALLS. I did not get sick.

It was different than a regular mushroom trip, but very enjoyable. I will definitly do this agian unless I find out that there's some long-term damage associated with drinking juice from verm(with a speck of perlite here and there)

No damage, I do this quite often if I'm between flushes. In fact I just tripped HARD last night off a cake. Level 4. Total loss of reality and concepts of everyday life. I couldn't grasp the idea of other people being in the world. Fucking intense.
I just strain the juice twice through some cheese cloth and a strainer.
I'm starting to prefer this trip to shrooms as it's far more intense for me.

wow, i had no idea you could use spent cakes for something (i'm new to this field).

how long do you leave the crumbled cakes in the juice? i.e., how long 'til the active ingredients are transfered (for lack of a better word) into the juice?

Most of the teks I read said 20 minutes. Here's my deal: I left the first batch for about an hour. Tripped good, Level 2. Second try left soaking for 3 hours. Level 3. Third time must have been some other factors involved cause I let the cake soak for about 3 hours, but SHIT. That trip blasted the top of my head off! For this last spent cake, I've let it sit now for about 24 hours. I'm almost scared to drink it cause I know I'll compulsively chug it all down and it's gotta be powerful!

I use between 3 and 4 cups per pint cake. You might be able to use a little less. I like cranberry juice and I don't think the Cake juice tastes too bad either. I use one of those hand blenders to pulverize the shit.

well, ill find out later if this will work for me, this time, ive tried it before with no luck. This time i kept the bottle of cranberry, broke up the 2 cakes into the bottle and then put 4 drinking glasses of cranberry back in, ive been shaking it pretty good every so often, and its been soaking since 9 last night, so hopefully there will be some trippin tonight =D

could somebody explain this tek for me step-by-step?? I'm interested in using my spent cakes this way......my cakes are brf/verm. cakes....is that okay to use?? Plz somebody explain this better for me....i'm REALLY interested!

Get a big bowl or Measuring cup. I have one of those pryex 4 cup jobs so that's what I use. The most detailed tek I saw (I think on erowid) gave a measurement of 500 Mg juice per half pint cake. 500 Mg is approximately 2cups. I use pints, so I add about 3 1/2 to 4 cups per cake. I crumble it up as small as I can get it, then pour juice over it. The cake bits will all float to the top. I then take a hand blender, (not the kind for mixing cake batter, one of those one's thats like a real blender upside-down. for making smoothies and shit.... I can't believe I just wrote the word smoothie.....) and mix the shit until it's all pulverized and frothy. Then I cover it and stick it in the fridge for anywhere from 1 to 24 hours. If i were you, I'd keep the soak time low. This shit get's fucking intense the longer it sit's. Believe me, I know........
Pull the shit out and strain it thru a big kitchen strainer or whatever you have. Dump it all in so the verm collects in the bottom and let it strain, then sqeeze the juice out of the verm and discard the verm. Restrain thru cheesecloth as many times as you want.
Be careful with this shit if you let it sit for a long time. I just had a level 5 trip yesterday, and in retrospect, I can say it wasn't entirely pleasant.

I guess im gonna post my experience from sunday night and how i made the juice. I bought a bottle of cranberry juice, and dumped it into another pitcher i have. Crumbled up the cakes into the cranberry juice bottle and put 1 of those huge mcdonalds cups (i think its 48fl oz) and shook the bottle every so often usually once or twice an hour for 10 hours. I cut the foot end off a pair of pantyhose and put it over the bottle and strained off that nasty mess. Then i downed the juice, and it dosnt taste all that bad, nervous at first cause i had never had cranberry juice. 15 minutes after drinking i had an extremely plesent body high. We were playing luigies mansion at the time, and i grabbed the instruction book to flip through while waiting for my turn. (30min) The instruction book was so confusing?! It just didnt make any sense, none at all, so i put it down and look up, the room was sooooooooo bright, we had the light off, but everything stood out like it was on. (1hr) Next we were goin to pick up a sack so i rode shotgun, all the buildings were really tall, and it looked as though we were always looking at the road ahead like we were coming over a hill. That was about it, on the ride home everything was normal, but i was still just majorly confused for another hour or so.

Well.....i tried this shit. Used 3 half-pint spent cakes w/cranberry juice. Let it shit for 12 hrs., strained and drank. I was expecting it to be much stronger than it was. I DID get a nice trippy body buzz off of it, but it wasn't as intense as some of u were saying. Just wanted to share!

I felt the same way. So I got two more cakes, im going to try the same thing i did before (read two posts up) and this time im thinking of taking a maio before hand, should help things out a bit. Any thoughts?

Are y'all using 100% cranberry juice? cuz cranberry juice cocktail is only like, 30% cranberry juice.
