I would not test Coke. Bad idea and bad mix, IMO.

Hehe, I just said Coke as an example. I have used Dr. Pepper before tho. It wasn't too bad, but I did have to chase it with straight Dr. Pepper. I got the quicker hitting shorter trip from liquid consumption, but nothing like cranberry.

I mean, that shit is not good to be even putting in your body close to a shroom trip, Dr. Pepper or Coke or Pepsi whatever. Lots of sugar. Ever seen what a coke will do to a car hood when left on it? It will strip the paint!

I just read this thing and i had already bein planning on tripping tommarow and now ive decided to do the cranberry juice idea ..i was just wondering should i eat whats left in the bottom of the glass?

I see it as a intensifier. Locks the fruit like a bullet in my stomach. Very intense. Most folks throw up do to the acidic nature of these drinks and the fruit. One of the lucky few not to i guess.

cranberry juice apparently has an H2 antagonist in it. other H2 antagonists have been shown to inhibit the bodies ability to metabolize many different drugs there by increasing the serum levels and hence the effects. don't know for sure if this is why cranberry juice increases the effects but it makes sense.

what about vitamin c? ive heard rumors for years that vitamin c can intensify the effects of many drugs. my girlfriend took X and the next morning drank some orange juice and the effects came back for a bit. . . supposedly. . her brain might have just been playing tricks. but have you guys heard of vit. c intensifying a trip? always been curious.

I've found vit c clears your mind a lot while tripping. so you don't get that not understanding what people are saying or whats going on as much but the visuals are still good. vit c protects your brain while on x so its good for that

I've tried taking vitamin C with shrooms and it doesn't seem to make much of a difference.

Cranberry juice, on the other hand, gives it a little punch, not to mention it's perfect to wash down with.

Lemon juice makes it too fast and too intense... I tried it and totally lost myself, but was baseline by four hours after drinking the mixture. I probably wouldn't do it again, it's hard to get much out of something so fast.

Read this the other night, tried it the next night, and blew me away. Including the cranberry trip, I've eaten shrooms three times within the last ten days, and with the cranberry juice, this trip was the strongest and hardest. Only lasted three hours though.

mushrooms are not poison, bad info is poison the nurse is wrong about everything with all due respect, its 2 things its the powdering of the shrooms breaks down the cell walls much better than chewing, and the juice has the citric acids to also help break down the powder, basic ly your mix is doing most of the work for your body! No disrespect towards your nurse friend intended..... much love friend><

5 year old thread...

Have made mushroom tea using real cranberry juice... Works well. It's not magic and doesn't make more pysilocybin but 1) good for you; 2) acidic so solubilize the good stuff well, 3) hides the taste.

Don't go for the ocean spray cranberry drink... Find an actual 100% cranberry juice

I drink a litre of cranberry juice every day because its a natural blood thinner, been on it three years now, since I suffered a bout of deep vein thrombosis caused by an air flight.

There's salicylic acid in cranberry and it works similar to aspirin and its healthy to drink it apparently.  Its nice to know its enhancing my trips as well.

To anyone coming across this post,
I have tried this, it does work .
I've employed the method since around 2014 when I graduated high school and was living with a good friend back then . We used cranberry juice and it was INTENSE.

Again . Friday night, I and my wife used cranberry and a dash of apple juice. With 2.5 grams of ground fungus, I stirred about 5ounces of juice and shrooms bits for 15 minutes vigorously . And then scooped them up and stuck them to the wall of the cup and pressed them hard with the bottom of the spoon . Repeating this multiple times and stirring in between .
After about 30 minutes of steeping I drank the liquid, filtering with my mustache and lips . It took four gulps and by the third I could feel it hitting me . After thenlast and I had set the cup down, the rug on the floor was already swirrling and i felt LIKE ALL OF MY LIGHTS HAD BEEN TURNED ON INSIDE .

It was so intense so fast . My wife hated it . And I did too at first as I watched my sins swirl around me and I made peace with myself for all I had done and have made the changes to move forward .

It was so intense it was borderline Salvia-esque . Unlike any of the other trips on shrooms I've had before.

Golden penis envy .
